I am a great caregiver, a great listener great at having patience and overall a great companionship. I have 25 years of caregiving experience. My specialty is with Alzheimer's and dementia. I love what I do and open to any case that just needs regular routine daily care or going out. I am reliable and trustworthy.

I have compassion for humans who are unable to care for themselves. I have a passion to give the best possible care and attention to the individual that I am assisting. I enjoy working where I am making a change in someone's life for the better. I am proud to have completed my CNA certification at a later time in my life.

I always thought about becoming a Caregiver,when I finally made the decision to Attend Triton College,I knew I was making the right decision.I've been a P.c.t. for 13years.I'm also an Occupational Rehab aide and Phlebotomist.and I love everything about caring for other's. I learn so much fro. The people I care for.

Being raise by my mother. When I had to care for my mother for 10 years. Just knowing that I can help someone. I love being able to put a smile on the clients face because of the things that I`m doing to make their life a little bit easier.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy caring for other people. As we come into this world we are taught to always go forward and use all of our senses and physical movements. When that it taken away from us, we don't realize how much we depend on those senses and physical movements. Realizing this, it hurts our dignity and we are often afraid to ask for help. I enjoy helping people who can not do for themselves and to see that I have satisfied there needs to the fullest. I am currently a nursing student trying to fulfill my dreams to continuing to help people.

Hello, my name is Melissa and I have been a CNA since 2014. Being a caregiver is a very rewarding job. I truly enjoy helping others and providing the best care because that is what everybody deserves. I am very patient, and compassionate.

Communicating with my patient and family. My grandfather had health issues when I was younger living with him and I would see nurses come to the house all the time for him. And that's how I got into being a CNA. I enjoy putting a smile on my patients face. I'm proud of being a CNA n mig welder.

I am inquisitive by nature and observant, and my knowledge of history, trivia, and a myriad of other subjects make of me an excellent conversationalist . From the age of 14 I have served in some capacity or another as care-provider in the home. It started with my brother, as I was asked to care for him by our parents, a task that quickly became a full-time job, though in practicality I never regarded it as such. His care and companionship superseded any form of obligation. After his passing I fell back on my other skill. That of a careful listener. Short of professional, therapeutic advice, I found myself giving counsel to those who needed it most when I was asked and simply paying close attention and giving them time to vent their troubles to a friendly ear. Since moving to Texas, I have taken up minor care duties with my chronically ill fiancee, although she often takes care of me as is the way of things. I enjoy taking care of people and soothing their woes. I am a natural protector, even if that just means protecting my charge from the frustration of putting on a particularly recalcitrant sock. I am proud that I served my brother for so many years and that I was able to provide him with not only decent service but a target for conversation and debate, and it is the skills that I have learned over that long career, both physical and mental, that I hope to bring to the table for you and your loved one.

I like to help the elderly. I like to make them feel good about themselves . Whether it is bathing, dressing , grooming or just talking to them .. Helping with them to feel good about themselves even if they are in pain..

I am passionate about this field. I love taken care and working with the elderly. It feels great to show them that younger people still acknowledge them. I'm proud of only being 21 and the hardest worker I know, also staying in school so that I can reach my career goals. I'm very nice and friendly. I would love to be a nurse in the years to come. I also adore and love children.

I became a caregiver because my grandma was a sick and I didn't know what demetria was. I enroll in school and learned the stages and process to better know what my grandma was going through. I have a special love for the elderly after taking care of my parents who lived until their 90. I am currently unemployed. However, I do need to work and I feel that I would make an excellent caregiver.

I became a caregiver because I loved working with people, and interacting with people from different backgrounds. I like being a caregiver, because I worked in different settings and each client is unique. A personal achievement I am proud of is being a mother, earning an associates degree, and wanting to excel in the healthcare field. I am bilingual, and worked in the healthcare field since 1997, in nursing home, clinic, group home, and private duty. I am also bilingual (Spanish). I have a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate from Triton College and CPR card as of November 2014.

I believe I was born to be a caregiver. I was blessed in 1985 with a beautiful daughter with CP. (She passed in 2006) This gave me an insight into how hard it is to find a person who is in this profession for the right reasons. The two key words for me with any client are dignity and respect. I remember at all times that this is a human being who is loved and has loved. If dementia has changed their personality as it always does, I always remember that any behaviors are not the person but the disease. I have always been told that I have an inordinate amount of patience and I think that is true. I also respect the fact that the family has their own wishes and expectations and am very careful about not over stepping those boundaries.

I love working with older people keep them positive and keeping there minds sharp with playing cards or just taking a walk in there neighborhood and watching there faces talking about there lives and accomplishments brings me so much joy by just been around them and help keep them motivated is my biggest accomplishment

My name is Anette and I am a natural caregiver. I am the mother of 3 grown children and grandmother of 3. Well my dad got sick a few years back and while taking care of him I found out my passion was to care for others. I have worked in elder are for 20 + years in Florida. All aspects of care from Alzheimer's to end of life. I am a dedicated person who will be early for shifts to obtain information from the previous shift. I will cook, do light housekeeping for patients, dishes, laundry, dr. visits and shopping. I have reference letters available upon request. I also have a level 2 FBI background check in place.
