I became a caregiver because I sick family members that I wanted to have the proper help, and what I like about it is the peace and comfort I bring to someones life and home. A personal achievement that I'm proud of are my 3 boys and my husband, I consider myself to be very patient, long suffering, compassionate, and understanding, and I know exactly how to make a difficult situation better or at least work.

I became a Medical Assistant in 2007, I have experience in Family Practice, Allergy, Asthma, Internal Medicine, & Pediatrics , I'm a single mother of a 17 yr old girl & I love being able to help people & give great care to my patients. I have my own transportation & insurance.

I am a loving, caring 35 year old female caregiver who provides outstanding compassionate care. I offer many sevices including bathing, errands, grooming, transportation, medication reminders and meal preparation. Prior to becoming a Registered Nurse, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant working within home care, elderly retirement homes and rehab centers. It was throughout this experience I developed a passion for memory care. As an advocate for those experiencing the challenges associated with dementia, I guide my care by keeping abreast with the latest research and guidance whilst working with clients who have dementia. For example I actively promote the inclusion of healthy nutritious meals with 'brain foods' that improve memory, mood and cognition. In addition to this, I am trained in chair based exercises devised by the British Gymnastics Association and Cogntive Stimulation Therapy, both of which have been proven to improve cognitive stimulation and social interaction for those affected by dementia . Even with limited mobility these exercises and activities can have a significant impact. I feel it is important to have a job that is tied to your beliefs. In being a caregiver it allows me to be true to my nature which is helping others around me in anyway possible. I will always treat someone how I would want myself or a family member treated.

I became a caregiver 10 years ago after taking caregiver after losing my grandmother. And I helped take care of her. What I like about being a caregiver, is that you get to help people who can't help themselves, or who don't have any family. I am very much a people person. I love giving back. Im reliable, outgoing, and dependable. And really love what I do. I also work with people with developmental disabilities.

I am finishing college I am currently taking my externs as a medical assistant and I am proud of that achievement. 4. Well I am 23 years old I take my jobs seriously so that I can take care of my family. I am reliable when it comes to being employed. I am certified to do CPR when needed.

hi my name is Andrett Lopez, im from a small beautiful country called Belize , im currently working at a Therapeutic Living center with Blind and Developmental Disabled Adults, I became a caregiver because I have always been interested in spending time with people that need assistance with daily living, I love to help and make people smile, i enjoy Meeting different people. I enjoy caring for others. I've always been around the healthcare field, my mom is a nurse. I'm a certified Medical Assistant and have hopes in the future of opening my own Assisted Living Facility. I'm a dedicated caregiver.

I ve been a caregiver since i was 12 years old taking care of my uncle who had diabetes 2 and wheelchair bond and my uncle had demetia. I also help my great aunt cook and clean her open wounds to working as a medical assistant and then becoming a CNA and working in an assisted living at a lock down demetia unit with a total of 20 residents. Also ive done caregiving for a company called visiting angels and i was hired on as a caregiver then made my way up to training new hires . So i believe ive had alot of experience to get the job done ..

I am a great caregiver because I love to be around people and help in any way possible, I love to see the smile on the patients face when they tell me stories, or just want to talk, I'm a very honest, loving and caring person who just wants to give the patient the best care possible. One of my greatest achievements is caring for my grandmother in law who had Alzheimer's very badly and I took care of her during the day since everyone had work, yes it was hard since she didn't remember me but being able to help and be there for her was amazing.

I have worked in nursing home setting with elderly,in group home setting with individuals that have disabilities,memory care facility with the elderly population and with Alzheimer's/dementia.
