I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 24 years . I started as a DSP in 1996 then I went on to school to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. I work @ Memorial Hospital then I went on to work in long term facilities, Rehab, private duty, Respite care. I enjoy working with ppl especially the elderly. I enjoy listening to their stories and their past. I am a caring person and loving as well. I am dependable too.

I am very friendly and patient I have a lot of empathy for the patients. I understand as caregivers you must treat everyone with respect. I would like the patients to know I am here to put them first to take care their needs first. My father is one of the reason I got so interesting In being a care giver. I took care of him and I knew how I wanted him to be treated. I want to lend a genuine hand to a patient . I want to establish trusted relationships with the patient. I want to give genuine support and reassurance to the the patient. I want the patient to know I am safe. I enjoyed the most about being caregiver before I leave I have taken care of their personal needs and I hope I can help with making them smile . I finish school as medical assistance and I able to take what I have learned and apply to the needs to others and the patient or client I am caring for .

Hi my name is Saunja I'm 42 years old. I been a professional caregiver for 20 years now. I started at the age of 14 taking care of a elderly lady. I graduated high school and started taking classes for teachers aid. I felt taking care of children and elderly ppl was truly my calling. I stop school to become a C.N.A. I did this for 4 years, then open up a home daycare. I did daycare for 4 years then went to school for massage thearphy. I graduated and started doing private massages in ppl home. I felt like I was missing what I love to do, take care of the elderly. I took full custody of my niece who has a disability. I went back to doing C.N.A. I been on one of my job 5 years and thee other 10. I am a mother of 3 and have two loving grandchildren. My life is to give and help those who can't help them self.

Hi I'm Jennifer. I feel good when I can help people in need ,especially the older ones. I like to make they're life easier. I enjoy working with people and making friends. I lived in a small town with few job opportunities. I tried a couple jobs and they weren't fitting. I decided to apply at a care facility in town and was hired on to be a CNA. Later I moved back home and continued to work as a CNA with 2 small kids, for as long as I could. Years later I worked part-time as an in home care giver for a year, before I went back to school and found a full-time job in cosmetology. I am thankful for my accomplishments so far including: my AA degree, cosmetology license, and nursing certification.
