Hello. My name is Kim. I became attracted with Caregiving because I saw a lot of my elders needing assistance and little help in there homes. They all wanted to live at home but needed help. So it became my daily tasks by going to there homes to offer assistance.

I became a caregiver/CNA because I like being able to help people. I like being able to see the joy in people that I help. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I am a college nursing student with straight a grades. I am a very easy going people person.

I earned my Nursing Assistant Certification right out of high school in 2005. I've also worked in several nursing homes in New Orleans, LA from 2005-2012. My life's passion for practicing as a caregiver and working in the healthcare field has been seriously rewarding physiologically. Helping families and efficiently managing complex tasks is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver.

Cooking, errands, task follow up, light cleaning, loves to play games, watch a good show together or just talk and share memories. Recently retired from the corporation world, I am here to help you when you need an extra hand now and then or on a regular basis. I've lived in Skagit County since 2007 with my family of 7 on a small hobby farm. My husband is a retired veteran from Whidbey Island. Currently, I am caring for an 88-year-old woman and the job is ending on October 26th when her regular care give her returns from surgery. I really enjoy cooking and getting to know people as we spend time together and enjoy each other's company.

I am a very loyal, caring, and compassionate person. It gives me great joy to be able to help someone in there time of need. I started my caregiving journey in 2001. I went to CNA school and became a CNA at that time. I worked in a nursing home for 2 years then went to work at a hospital for 5 years. After that I started my journey being a one on one caregiver. And I have helped people in there home for the past 10 years. I enjoy what I am able to do for the patients and there families.

1. I believe that people should care for others the way they would want treatment upon themselves. I believe in keeping God first in everything i do in order to fulfill my job duties. 2.Seeing others in need attracted me to being a caregiver , I love people and I love helping people it's one of my biggest priorities. 3.I enjoy putting a smile on my clients face that's what makes me happy. 4. I am proud that I am living and enjoying life , I couldn't ask for anything better.

I am a compassionate, caring, dedicated empathic with a big heart who just loves helping those in need. Care giving to me cones second nature. Perhaps bc it started at an early age in my teens and has continued throughout my adult life. My passion to help others also influenced the field I chose to study in college and to no surprise to myself it was a human services field I chose to study in college and today have a bachelors degree in that field which is Social Work. Perhaps my degree led me back to care giving . but it was a long way from my first care giving experience. I was 15 yes old and had a grandfather who had severe emphysema. He struggled for every breathe despite the oxygen he wore and just could not even complete some of the smallest of task. Of course at 13, I didn't care for his personal care needs but I saved that man a many of steps. I was his legs and learned quickly how to help with outside tasks (I called it work) from changing lawnmower blades to mowing, to feeding and caring for the farm animals. I know he never ran out of busy work and he got lots of entertainment teaching and watching me grow up. But two things I will never forget that I done nearly everyday was make him coffee and rub his feet with lotion which was his favorite. Perhaps I didn't know that post college I would land a job in my field working with people, from ages 3 to the elderly 80 yr. old lady that required a caregiver to live in there home by themselves or with family. They were either physically or mentally which needed care either BC of a physical disability or the elderly just bc at that age he/she needed help to stay in there home. The aging process whether it be physical or mental decline caused them to need help with everyday basic needs they once did independently. I evaluated each patient and wrpte their individualneeds, and wrote their care plan individual to that patients

I care for anyone at any place in life whether your need is for an accident victim, surgery recovery, or best of all elderly care. People have told me that i am very patient and a good listener. I enjoyed hearing that and i take much pride in being those and other gifts that God gives. What attracted me into being a caregiver is my mother in 2006. She has been a caregiver for 41 years now. There was a facility that she was working in that caregivers work. There was a family lacking a sitter for one lady and they were looking for someone last minute to fill in a shift. My mom called and asked if I could do it and I did not see why not. Even though the overnight shift was a nightmare and even hurt me physically, I decided if I could do go through that then I could go through anyting. :-) What i enjoy most is the learning. For many clients I feel like I should have been the one paying them for what I learn from them. Of course it's not always this way. I would pray so however. I do enjoy learning people and new situations. Every client and their loved ones are different and i don't mind making long term friends. Personal achievements that I have made during the career of home health aide caregiving is caring for different health situations in many different walks of life. My services include bringing you or your loved one to appointments, errands, etc. My services include light to moderate cleaning, cooking, and shopping whether the need is part time or full time, short term or long term.

I'm am kind, compassionate, generous, have patience, respectful. I have a big heart. I love helping others as if they were my grandparents or kids. Being able to make a difference in people's lives. Helping the less fortunate. When I was in Louisiana I cooked and feed anybody twice a week and helped them with their personal needs (clothes, deodorant, PPE etc).

Some personality traits I have are: I love talking, I'm very patient and I'm a great listener. What attracted me to be caregiver was my grandmother, I helped with her when she was on hospice. I enjoyed the different conversations from my patients.

My name is Bonnie. I have been providing senior care for almost four years as a profession. Prior to that I took care of my mother in law, mom and father in law. I got attracted to care giving because of my late family members. I am a very honest and commutative person. I am a very strong Christian and my faith is everything to me. I believe the seniors deserve to have good quality care with a concerned care giver. I strive to do what is in the seniors best interests. I enjoy seeing my clients smile and laugh as their life is coming to a close. This brings such joy to me. I am most proud of that I have had many clients and they ask for me repeatedly to come back. I worked for Professional Sitter Service for nearly four years. While there I was sent to many clients and had one steady client for almost 18 months. I am still on a call in bates with the company but I have been privately sitting with a couple in Haughton since August 2017.

Due to living with my grandparents i have some experience in caregiving. I find it most enjoyable to listen to the stories they tell me about the things they experienced throughout their lives. I am proud that I'm able to learn from others experience, in helping me with making hard decisions in my life.

I have a varied background in providing care to people of all ages and conditions with more than 25 years of experience in the field. In my current position I work at Centralia Providence Hospital in all departments. I assist patients with daily living activities such as getting out of bed toileting showering getting dressed and other duties as needed. I am able to physically handle the work load and I also have a caring bedside manner and good interpersonal skills. My organizational skills allow me to complete all tasks in a timely manner and to be able to devote time to helping with other household duties such as cleaning laundry and dishes. Most would say that I am an empathic and open minded individual. I have worked in the healthcare field since 2020. I started in long term care and currently work for a home health agency. As a young lady, I inspired to help others in their time of need. Which attracted me to begin my journey in long term care. I enjoy being able to assist others when they can not assist themselves.
