I became a caregiver at 21 years of age I've always had an interest in the medical field. After my first patient passed away from cancer and was the same age as me. Since then I've had a passion and love to be able to help those in need. I enjoy being a help to others in need and enjoy being able to put smiles on faces that need it the most.

I have been a care giver for 6 years. I love it, I started because I love the medical field I went to school to be a surgical technologist but decided it was not for me I loved the medical part of the job but missed talking with patients because all the patients were under anastasia when they got to me. So a friend of mine who was a care giver suggested I give it a try so I did and loved it. I like helping people I have the patience it takes to help senios I took a class on dementia online to help understand alot of my patients. I have great communication skills and am organized as well as a fast learner. I treat everyone as if they are my own loved one. I am cpr certified. I am always reading and trying to learn as much as I can to help me understand my patients

I am a natural care giver of the heart and enjoy taking care of children and the elderly. I find a great joy in helping those in need. I have been in the medical field for approximately 17 years. I am currently employed at Oakmont of Escondido in the city of Escondido Ca. My occupational duties are that of a senior caregiver. I assist with all daily living needs. Which include assisting with bathing, dressing, incontinent care, housekeeping, meal prep, medication administration, shopping, doctor appointments, companionship ,and all needed personal care. I am CPR certified and have extended educational experience in Geriatric care. I love my occupation and continually strive to learn more in my field to better provide care for all patients under my responsibility.....

I've been a full time caregiver for past six years. I love caring for the elderly. I always knew I wanted to be a caregiver. As a kid I helped my granny care for my big dear. The thing I love most about being a caregiver I'm able to help families care for their love ones. Knowing ur love one is being cared for by someone who loves & treats them as their own is a blessing. I love spending time with older people their conversations & spirit is a joy to be around. One of my personal achievements I'm very proud to say my grandma raised me & when she was no longer able to care for herself I cared for her until her last day.

I am a great caring person and find personal joy in helping others, I like to know people are OK, and if something is wrong and they ask me for help I will try my best to help them by listening, talking, and doing anything I can to help them find peace. Goodness is a great start to success and happiness. It is often known to turn to religion for guidance, In my opinion we should learn to define our morals from our own life experiences with others. One of the simplest ways to do so is to love others unconditionally, and treat them as you would like to be treated. Everyday I try my best to think of others before myself. I know that even doing the smallest things for others will greatly enrich and improve not only my life, but the lives of others around me.

I became a caregiver to help the elderly, I saw that their was a need to assist the elderly many years ago in my community. In 2002 I began a working for a Day center for people with Alzhemiers and I loved it I had a chance to coordinate the center with the help of some other people we opened the center so that the elderly could have a place to go that would help give the family a break but to also help the elderly get out and have some fun with people their own age. While I worked doing that during the day I would go out to some of the clients homes to take care of them at night and own the weekend it became a second nature for me. I love people in general I am a people person but its something about the elderly that makes me go above and beyond for them ,they bring a certain light to your day. Being able to assist them with the little things give me joy and most of them are just looking for someone to talk to not really needing you for nothing but compassion and a listening hear. I am mostly proud of me going back to school to become a social worker and I really would like to put that to use to assist elderly who are in need of help with anything to make thier lives much easier. I am a medical assistant at Ochsner Hospital now and I have over 18 yearrs in the medical field I am a very passionate person who takes proud in what i do and I love giving back to my community and promoting good health habits for people of all ages.

Im came to caregiver because i have passion helping those who can not help them self.my passion for helping people started when 14 when my grandmother became ill i use to help her around the house. In 98 i graduated from bryman college to be a medical asistant.

I am a great caregiver because i care about people and always provide the best care for them. I have been in the nursing field ss a caregiver as well as a med tech in a mental facility for 10 years. The accomplishment that i am most proud of is continuing my education in the nursing field and also putting my daughter through school for nursing also.

I became a caregiver my generous heart. I see the elderly and I just want to help. I love being a caregiver because it helps me be OK with me being myself and helpful without someone feeling weird about why you would want to help a stranger. I became a Care giver, because I have compassion on those who are sick, and have need of help in the things, which seem impossible or are not able for them to do. People need people too, we all need each other in one way or another. The Bible tells us, to "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you" A care giver is one who truly cares, and have empathy for others who are in need of their help. I am a medical assistant/physical therapy aide by way of occupation, and I truly like what I do. In achievements, I've been thankful in receiving credits/merits, in the music field, particularly (piano). I also do like singing, as I thank God like my mother, we both were blessed to have I believe wonderful singing voices, as we've been told by others. I was blessed to have gone through nursing school for (9months) and at the end achieved my diploma, for being a medical assistant/physical therapy aide. I am also a mother, with (3)wonderful kids, (grown ups) (2) boys and (1) girl, and also now, another step son and (5) wonderful grand-kids all together.

I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so, The smile on their face is over whelming and makes me feel I have done my job right.I have always enjoyed helping people so I know i'am doing the right thing. I enjoy the the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives , iam a very hard worker , trust worthy , and very caring .

I decided to become a caregiver when I took a gerontology corse at the local college. To my surprise I was very intrigued in what my professor had to say. After three different courses taken in gerontology I decided to become a caregiver. I enjoy the companionship and feeling of being able to help out and spend time with the aging adult. I have learned many thing in this field of care and look forward to many more experiences this work brings. I'm a very hard worker and always ready to try and experience new things.
