I have elderly parents that receive care so I know the traits that I look for in a caregiver. I have always had the desire to help others. Helping others improve or maintain a good quality of life has always been fulfilling and satisfying. My greatest personal achievements have been graduating from college with honors, advancing in my career and taking care of my aging parents.

I thrive on opportunity to learn what is important to each person while caring for them. I am dependable, empathetic, patient and good humored. I desire to increase their quality of life until there is good health or the passing of life. I became a caregiver years ago because I desired to care for those who needed care. I find care giving to be the most honorable work I have ever done.

Providing care to various populations across the lifespan, beginning as a CNA in 1987 and including direct care services to individuals with developmental and other disabilities in group home settings, case management to individuals in various residential settings as a Master Level Social Worker, and skilled nursing services as a RN Case Manager in home/hospice care in various residential settings.

Hello! I started my path on caregiving at the young age of 16, babysitting for local families. I always knew I had a passion for helping others and I continued on this path through my high school and college career with experience in lifeguarding, and multiple CNA positions (both home health aide and hospital). I have now worked for over two years as a dedicated CNA on my journey to becoming a Physician Assistant. I love working with people of all ages. As an in home health aide, my personal goal is to make patients as comfortable as they should be in their own homes, and be a friendly face they can look forward to seeing. I am a great caregiver because I genuinely love people and I absolutely enjoy serving others. It gives me great joy to see if I made someone happy and smile. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves love and respect. I am a big believer in providing care to someone in need. I have the necessary strength, demeanor, good nature, and great patience as well as love and mercy for those in need.

In June 2019, I decided to leave my administrative career in education (25 years). I'm still young to actually retire and am a vibrant worker looking for a part time role as a caregiver. I am a licensed social worker (27 years) and genuinely interested in people, their stories, and their needs. I hope to improve the quality of life for the people I serve. I am an active outdoors person (hiking, biking, walking, beach strolling, kayaker and photographer) and would be extremely helpful in encouraging clients to move and get out of the house if they are able. I have a lot of time on my hands with a flexible schedule, and am willing to support people both physically, mentally and emotionally. I'm happy to do light housekeeping or yard work, meal preparation, shopping, driving, and general companionship. I'd work well with people who are lonely or lacking companionship and who might need a friendly and caring "visitor" in their home to play cards, chat, prepare a meal, or talk. My counseling skills are strong and conversations are a passion for me. Every person has a unique and intriguing story to tell and I'm an excellent listener! I work well with men and women. My grandparents were important people to me in my younger life, and I value time spent with people who are getting older.

I became a caregiver many years ago started helping my grandma clean her feet and remove callus from both feet. I enjoy and prefer helping and provide care in the comforts of client home versus working in a nursing home. i like to give 110% attention to my clients that i provide care for. In addition, i work well in diverse environment definitively a people person.

I am very compassionate and like to work where I am helping people. I have worked in various settings from daycare settings with children that have special needs,assisted living facilities,and dementia units. I have a bachelors degree in behavioral and social sciences and also own my own cleaning company and want to relocate to San Diego. I like pets and am friendly,hardworking,fast learner, and easy going.

I have been in the field of human services for over twenty years. I enjoy working in the field to provide exceptional care for seniors, and people in general. To be able to help people especially the elderly is a fantastic way to give back. One rule my father taught me is "what goes around, comes around". I enjoy providing care for the elderly and support for their family members. Over the years I have continue to learn from the wonderful seniors I have provided care too. I listen to their life stories, achievements and I always take away something that will make me a better person. My strong point is that I am good at communicating, I am caring, kind and gentle. I hold an active CNA licence. I am also registered with the MA state board. I am a very empathetic person and enjoy providing exceptional care to the elderly.

What makes me a great caregiver is my many years of experience, I have been a nurses aid for 30 years. I have worked in Hospitals, Rehabs, Nursing facilities, and I have done private duties. I have also worked as an office manager at a Boarding House and worked with the Homeless. I became a caregiver because I was brought up by a caring mother that has always found satisfaction in helping those less fortunate than herself, I truly believe in giving back the same love, and understanding I was raised on. I have Bachelors Degree in Science, I specialized in Addiction. I hope to become a counselor some day to help those to have a better understanding of themselves.

I am companionable I do pay close attention to my clients to try and understand them better My mom. I watched her do care giving when I was a child I enjoy knowing that when I help some one out and talking to them they can feel at ease That I try my best When I deal with a client and that I know every body is not the same so I am able to see each person as a individual

I am a rising senior at Springfield College that is very personable and bubbly. Love to help out others in any way possible and is super sweet. I have my own car so transportation is not a problem. I enjoy being able to make people's day brighter and easier in any way possible. Being a volunteer at Baystate Medical Center truly made me appreciate just how much a smile and friendly face can change someone's day and mood.

I am from Milwaukee Wisconsin and I am a former 7th grade teacher nee to the area in Phoenix Arizona. I love helping others achieve their daily goals.

I am a 42 yr old mom to three.I have worked in the human service feild my entire life . It's so important to me for individuals to have as much independence as they can . I love working with people a hairdresser by trade I will go above and beyond to make an individual's life as independent as possible while helping care for needs. I have worked with mental retarded adults in group home settings as well as job coaching and rehabilitation programs. I also worked with the mentally ill population and went to homes to manage and moniter medications and adl skills also worked with trauma survivor children with behavior issues as well as autistic children high and low funcruoning. I love the satisfaction of working with people and making someone's life a little better. I am proud of my 3 children but have always been super proud as an employee for berkshire county arc I won employee of the year for residential. My mother has multiple sclerosis and grow in up helping card for helping Her..I always keep in mind to treat the individuals I work with as if they were my own mother and I will go above and beyond to brighten days and make families loads easier.
