I have being a care giver .I have specialized in geriatric people with all types of Comorbidities .I feel the elderly are the kind of people to deal with. They require extra TLC for and patient when taking care of them. Am aware and capable of doing hands on which includes bathing feeding, dressing ,activities, light house work. The most satisfy thing is when the patient is happy and safe at the End of the day. They are my customers and the family have to be okay as well.

I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages. In my career I've had the opportunity of working in a Hospital, Nursing home, as well as Home Health Care. I would like to be a caregiver because I have a human Services degree which I hard for So that I could work with people. What I like about being a caregiver is that you get to meet the relatives of the client, and get more ideas about how to better care of their loved one. HI, I'm looking for a part time job possibly full time, I have 13 years of experience in the healthcare field, with a great variety of experience. I have worked on detox, dementia units and home care, cared for hospice patients, did agency work as well. I have worked with dialysis patient as well with ventilated and trache patients at a neuro rehab facility. I'm dedicated, caring, organized and reliable and enjoy being able to provide quality care to my patient. On a more personal note, I love the outdoors and animals. I really enjoy working with the elderly, i started out as a CNA/HHA before I became a nurse o er 10yrs ago, my current position doesn't allow me the one on one interactions. I recently decided I needed to earn extra income, I could have easily gotten a per diem job passing meds, but I'm looking for something a lil more rewarding, I work Monday through Friday 8-4, so am available and flexible beyond that.

I am a single mother of 6 children, so I have been a caregiver for more then 20 years to mu children. My first is 23 yrs old and my youngest just turned 4 yrs old this past April, I just lost my last living grandparent not to long ago, and its because of all 4 of my grandparents that I want to get into being a caregiver today. I feel the need to care for someone that may really need a person to do just that care, and support their needs and wants, and also make them as comfortable as I can so that they can relax ans reassured that they are in safe hands with me. They won't have to worry about me not being there for them or not showing up when I'm suppose to, I will love them as if they were my own parent/ grandparent.

In 1990 I was a HHA in the Worcester area and enjoyed the 1 on 1 work experience, as well as a feeling of independence. I am a people person and also like the companionship aspect of being a personal caregiver. I was a personal caregiver to my Aunt when she had back to back surgeries and performed multiple tasks for her including personal hygiene, housework, cooking and ran errands. I was always proud of seeing my patient comfortable, satisfied and happy. The majority of my nursing career (16+ years) has been in the geriatric field, and I always felt compelled to give each of my patients more 1 on 1, but there was never enough time allotted. That is why I want to get into personal care, so as to spend time with my patient and to do all tasks necessary (personal and professional) in a timely manner and to make a positive impact on their lives.

I enjoy helping others reach their potential even when they don't believe they can. Working with the elderly is a pleasure to me since my grandparents are no longer living so it gives me a sense of friendship with the wiser generation.
