I am a highly dependable, capable, patience, and nurturing caregiver with a warm heart an extensive experience in senior care. A hard-working and honest individual, who perform personal care in a compassionate and friendly manner. I enjoyed taking care of elderly family members and I would like to help others in the same way. Moreover, I like making someone smile and giving a tender loving care in the best of my ability and God's help during illness. Always attentive, and ready to listen whenever they want to share their feelings. I know that one day I will be a senior too.

I have always felt a calling and a passion for caregiving. I have over 15 years of experience providing compassionate care in Skilled and private homecare settings. I am a single mother and student at UMGC. Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Gerontology and Aging Services and a minor in Psychology, and proudly graduating in December of 2024! From there, I plan to work towards a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. I am dedicated and dependable, and the hourly rate is negotiable depending on the level of care and time of day needed, etc.

Passionate in advocacy opportunities for diverse and vulnerable populations raising awareness and funding for supportive and safety net services within the Community and Political arena. Supervise, coach and manage over 200 employees. Plan and facilitate regular staff meetings. Provide oversight and assist with volunteer's management and training services. Work in collaboration with Human Services Department to implement social services wrap around program for diverse and vulnerable population. Plan and execute annual cultural competencies, diversity awareness event and trainings for 13 buildings to facilitate community development and clients' empowerment. I have been taking care of people for a long time. I started off taking care of children and after having my own and becoming a stay at home mom for several years I decided to go back into the workforce and changed fields and started taking care of adults at a mental health 18 years up to geriatric unit. I enjoy helping others and providing for them.

I became a caregiver back in 2014 after my grandfather became sick with dementia and it took a huge turn on my life . I've always wanted to a nurse , being a caregiver made me love what i do the most . I'm a college student with a double major in nursing and early childhood education.

I became a cargiver seven years ago when I applied for an assisted living. When i got the job I had no clue about how to take care of people in a different way. As I was trained for the field I started to grow comfortable of the idea. Than 6 years go by and I loved every minute of it, its a way you feel that can not be explained. I have been a caregiver for 3 years and I love doing what I do! I started out working with kids but I'd love to broaden my work and help those in need. I've taken care of my great-grandmother who was 88 years old and I just loved being there for her. I would love to be there for others now and share my love and joy with them while helping out their family members.
