I am a compassionate and empathetic person, I have always loved taking care of people. I took care of both my grandparents and decided I needed to further my studies in the field of health care. I am well trained, respectful, punctual and disciplined.

I was raised by grandparents and that motivated to volunteer and teaching old people to read and write as I wanted them to have the opportunity to understand better it feels good being in control of your life and understanding what's going on so I wanted to give that to old people

Being there when needed and making somebody feel appreciated makes me enjoy what I do as a caregiver. I have worked in hospitals, long term, assisted living facilities, memory, dementia and alzhemier units, group homes. I am a trained LNA, Caregiver and taken classes for CPR and First Aid. Being a mother and providing for my family has made me a better person and am always thankful for that.

What helps me be a great caregiver is my compassion which comes from being empathetic having the ability to put myself in the shoes of the different people I care for. A very lonely roommate who sometimes suffered with depression at the nursing home my grandmother was once at who family never came to visit her is what attracted me to become a caregiver. I wanted to give back by providing comfort companionship & conversation. To show people that they are loved regardless of their circumstances is where I come in at & it gives them purpose. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is when my patients see me their eyes light up & they have a big smile on their faces which warms my heart & that alone let's me know I'm doing something right. A personal achievement I'm so dearly proud of is when my patients family members remember my name take the time to pronounce it right lol & let me know that they trust me with their love ones & have no worries because they know their love ones are in good hands with me even when the facility is understaffed.

I am Reliable, I have a great personality, I am an Experience caregiver, Honest and I have undergo training to become a care giver. I choose to become a care giver because I want to be able to provide support to those that are in need of it the most. I have many caregivers in my family from nurses, LPN's, caregivers, CNA/GNA's, so in 2012 when I entered the health field it wasn't foreign to me and i learned and adapted quick... IT WAS MEANT FOR ME! Right after my CNA/GNA training i took the Maryland Board of Nursing test for CNA/GNA's and pasted and my license have been active on the Maryland Board of Nursing since then. I take pride in my work and strive for norhing below excellence.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I like to help those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on people faces is overwhelming and makes me feel happy when I help others. Even if it is in my daily job of just getting that person an appointment with their physician to helping someone at the market. I became a caregiver to expand my experience in the nursing field. Also, I thought it would be interesting to work with the older population. What I like most about being a caregiver is that I learn so much from each and every client and I enjoy my time spent at work. A personal achievement that I am proud of are my children. They are wonderful, hard working individuals that I love to teach and give advice. As for information about myself, I am a nursing student at Baltimore City Community College with two semesters to complete.
