I am a great caregiver because I love caring for people, am a good listener, team player. Caring for someone helps you learn a lot about life in general. I just Love to help someone in life knowing someday I might need help too. My personal achievement I would say me having my 2 kids, who brings nothing but joy to me.

I was in school and i watch a video of people living in an assistant home and how they are being treated not only by the staffs but also by the company itself. So i decided i want to be a caregiver to pit smile one their faces. Some of the individuals need not only their daily medication but companionship, a staff who can make them laugh and brightens their day.

I am a great caregiver simply because I love helping people. People these days are so cruel with people with special needs and I just love to make them feel like they are just like rest of us. I did caregiving in the past and I loved meeting new clients and learning new things about them. I enjoy building a relationship with the client and show them how warmed hearted I am. I am personally working on a leadership certificate and I am currently in the honor society.

I'm a kind, talkative caregiver that has experience in caring for elderly ( helping grooming and clothing, feeding, companionship, medication reminder). I also have experience caring for children (asthma) such as , meal prep, companionship, games, walks, bathing and grooming, medication reminders. Taking care of someone who needs help, knowing that i'm contributing to the betterment of their welfare. The experience i have gained caring for others that need my help is what i'm proud of.

I love working in this field it's very rewarding to help others and put a smile on their faces. I'm very patient with my residents and I enjoy allowing them to do some of the different activities that they use to do before they were unable. I proud of myself because I continue to persevere through all situations.

My best traits are organization compassion and passion. I like being a caregiver because I like helping people I like knowing that I can make a difference to someone and help them achieve the best quality of life possible. My biggest achievement is going back to school to finish my nursing degree after battling with cancer. Being in my fourth semester is amazing to me because I didn't know if I can make it this far.

I have been on this field for over 7 years and i love doing it because care for an aging parent can be stressful but i have an extremely high emotional intelligence for my carrier. Often work with for seniors who need care that facing extreme anxiety and even embarrassment about their situation. I always make them feel at home all the time with word of encouragement. I thank God for his mercy that has been helping for a lot of family in my carrier but all power and honor return to almighty God.

Since I was a little girl, I've always cared for older people and people with disabilities. Caring for people has always been in my heart and is what I've been called to do... If someone is thinking about becoming a caregiver, they have to love what they're doing. If you a heart for it, give it everything you've got because it's gratifying.

I have always been a caregiver. I raised 2 children, have 4 grandchildren and spent 2 years caring for my mother until her passing from ovarian cancer. My profession was dental hygiene and I was in private practice for 35+ years. I trained and was licensed as an EMT in NC. I have current CPR and first aid training. I became a caregiver because I participated in the care of my grand mom before she passed. Most times that I spend time with her was either making her comfortable, keeping her company,cooking or tiding up around her. I witnessed nurses visit her, draw blood from her arm, give her medication and edycated her on different illnesses so I became fascinated about the medical aspect of care-giving, today I have 10 years experience and a at Stevenson University pursuing nursing program.
