Hello, I am a patient, hardworking, trustworthy, compassionate , Certified Medication Technician, who is CPR , AED , and First Aid trained , with over 18 years experience as a CNA. I have geriatric, hospice, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's , Bipolar , COPD , and stroke experience, working in. nursing facilities, hospitals, assisted livings, and private residences. Caring for my grandmother is one of the reasons I became a CNA, and decided to become a private caregiver to give patients one on one care without rushing, treating them with the respect they deserve and expect. I'm a behavioral therapist for children with autism for a living. I've been working with them for about a year now. Im also caregiver part-time. I have my bachelors degree in psychology and I've have done some volunteering at a day care center when I was in high school for my child development class. I have 4 years experience of with children and adults who have disabilities. I enjoy working with children and adults. I have my CPR, RBT, and CNA certifications. Hi there, I am interested in the position. I am a current Nursing student attending bowie state university. I am pursing a BSN degree and love working long hours, as long as it is flexible with my schedule. I am available on weekdays at the times of 9am -5pm and on weekends I can work overnight as well as flexible hours. I have been working in the health field for 5 years. I have also cared for senior citizens, those with mental disabilities, cerebral palsy, deaf and blind, and also paralyzed patients. I have worked with the following appliances: hoyer lift, cathedar, handicapped van...etc. The best part about working with people who are disabled is that I always end up forming a close bond with the clients. I truely have a great passion for caring for those with many disabilities.

I think I would be a great fit for a caregiver because I have experience with caring for my own family members. Starting at a young age, my great grandmother became ill mostly because of old age but I remember doing word search puzzles and enjoying every moment I have left with her. My grandfather became ill from lung cancer and I will never forget the struggle he faced with getting to and from is doctors appointments, I was old enough, I would have taken him myself. As I got older, my grandmother became ill from cancer and I remember being by her side and helping her get stronger. Now my grandmother is still here and better than ever!
