I am a mother of 3 beautiful children. I very independent and strong willed. I love helping people and making sure they have the best care possible!

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I began as a teenager in nursing homes but found in home care when I was a personal trainer. I was training a client in her home and it was then that I decided I wanted to spend more time helping the elderly remain in their homes. I am very easy going but I'm a a great worker. I do my best to help each individual maintain their dignity and respect while maintaining as much independence as possible. I enjoy the fact that people are comfortable with me at a time when someone must come into their environment which has been sacred to them for so long. It's not easy but I think I make it a bit easier.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I genuinely enjoy helping people, it is very rewarding for me. I became a CNA in 1996, while working at a large nursing home/retirement center, in the hospitality field, because I really enjoyed working with the elderly making their lives a little brighter. I continued to work there for seven years, I also worked in assisted living for ten years, then private duty care which I also enjoy. I am a mature, caring, compassionate person, who will care for your loved one with respect and dignity. My greatest personal achievement was graduating from Kaplan University while working full-time.

I am a sympathetic and an understanding person. Adapting to different environments and people is something that is natural to me. I'm a hard-worker(I can cook, clean, etc.). My creativity extends to trying to connect with my patient and not leaving them in an unwanted atmosphere. What attracted me at becoming a care-giver was the way I would care for my children. Having the idea of caring for them lead me to care for other people the same way. Being able to create a special relationship and connect with my patient is something I charish most. A personal achievement I am proud of is being able to well communicate with my patient.

Feeling like your apart of the family is what makes me a top pick for a caregiver. Taking care of my mother for 7 year now after witnessing the wrong aids come in has make a big affect on me. See the difference in her behave it brings joy to me.

I became a caregiver to help those in need of personal care and social affection. I am a new caregiver but during my clinical time I enjoyed the bond that grew between myself and my residents. A personal achievement of mine during clinical is to have satisfied and happy residents during my stay with them. I am caring and responsible. I will go over and beyond for the care and safety of others.

I have been in the nursing field for 20+years as a CNA and now a Medication Tech. Caring for people is my passion. I believe I am a good caregiver because I was taught by my mother who also was a CNA that you should treat people how they would want to be treated. In my mind that means respect, dignity, compassion and understanding. I did move away from nursing for a few year and went to school for computer tech but I always felt something was missing I wasn't my passion or something that made me happy. I got a job in a memory care unit and I found my heart again. now I'm Lead Med Tech won employee of the month. The only thing that I think is missing is I don't have much time to have one on one time with my residents. They are my family and I am theirs cause we see each other so much.

I am a very compassionate person, whom believes that everyone deserves some to care about them at every stage of life. I am a mother of 3, a daughter, granddaughter and wife. I love being a caregiver because everyone needs that person to take care of and care about them even if they cant anymore...hope that makes seance. I love that the person whom you are caring for looks forward to you coming each day! i am proud that I have the compassion and love to be able to do this! I took care of my grandma for a long time and she is now gone, so I want to honor her and keep doing what I love!!!

I essentially enjoy being a caregiver because I have lots of compassion for people and love to help them out when they are in need. I am a Christian individual who just has a pure loving heart and looks out for those who are in need. I am a very humble person who tends to others needs before her own and just enjoys helping others. I am a dedicated, patient, hardworking, loving and trust worthy individual who has love for all humans and takes pride in doing what I can for others to put a smile on their face.

I was born with an overabundance of empathy, compassion, and a drive to provide love , care, and companionship to the elderly, special needs childen , and animals ! Starting at the age of 10 years old and in elementary school, I volunteered to be in the reach program at Grandin Court Elementary that paired me with special needs students as their " care buddy " I proudly escorted them to their buses and made sure they were belted in securely in their seat, assited with teaching them how to tie their shoe laces , brush their hair , and escorted them to the restroom and back to class as needed. I read them books , I included them in conversation and play time whenever I could. I chose to eat my lunch with the special needs children every day. Even in high school I sought enployment at Elm Park estates retirement home where I prepared and helped with meals , worked with dementia residents ,parkinson, cancer fighters and survivors. I coordinated fun activities like board game day, card games, walks, and even a dance ! After high school, I provided care to an elderly male with stage four colon cancer and dementia for several years until sadly, he passed on. I later assisted a 92 year old hospice patient with spoon feeding after meal prep, errands , medication reminding , light house keeping, laundry, dressing, and bathing, transportation, attending her doctor appointments and reporting her health and status updates to her family. I worked with her for five years when she passed on. I have always been dependable and punctual as I respect others time and know how critical my job is. I treat all as if they were my own mother, father , or child ! I am an advocate for all who cannot speak up for themselves.
