I am very outgoing, love helping people that need me, i loveee making others smile even if they are having a bad day.

I became a caregiver because of my love and dedication to helping people realizing that one day I may need someone to care for me or my family. I love being a caregiver simple because I am helping someone that can not help their self and I find great pleasure in helping others. I am proud to say that in my grandmothers last and final days on earth I took on the responsibility of being her personal caregiver and making sure that her last days were filled with great love and care. I am all about helping other whether they are young or old simply because I was raised to do unto others how I would have them treat me or anyone in my family and with that being said I don't mind caring for anyone in any situation.

I have been a caregiver since 2003 and I love the aspect of helping people in need. I get the joy out seeing other people happy. I am proud of the fact that I went back to school and got my degree dispite the financial struggle. I am kind, helpful, goal oriented and not to mention a mother of a beautiful 7 year old.

Primarily I have been in the field for over 15 years as a teenager taking care of my own love ones which made become passionate about the role of a caregiver. I assisted and helped take care of my great grandmother and watched her transition from being independent to assisted to dependent before her passing. Since then I have been licensed for 10 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant. I was also taught that providing the best quality of life for loved ones is best at home and at which this is what makes me so special because I have gained experience from taking care of my own loves ones and even still I will lend a helping hand to anyone who is need. I have 5 years experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia and have 2 years of skilled/rehabilitation. I mostly enjoy being able to provide that one on one care and giving the patient the best quality care of life. A personal achievement of mind is never being forgotten when I come in to help patients. I was raised in the medical field and I could not be more than happy with the continuing knowledge and experience I have to help someone.

I am a positive fun loving person, take pride in being intuitive to people's needs...I'm not just a sitter..I'm a friend..I do my best to make every challenging situation a positive one...while maintaining a clean safe environment

I know that I am a great caregiver because I used to watch my mommom before she passed away. I would treat her as if she was my own mother. I would help her read things, engage with her, take her grocery shopping, bathe her, etc. I love being a caregiver because I would treat them respect. I'm most personal achieved of making my way through the first semester of college.
