I became a caregiver to help others who need extra help and support. I like meeting new people. I really enjoy cooking and baking for others to enjoy. Being a caregiver is important to me because my job has meaning in making someone's life easier. Whether its taking a walk, cooking them dinner or even playing a puzzle to keep their mind sharp. That is the personal achievement for me to bond with the resident and make a daily routine that gives them joy and meaning. I've worked with residents that had Alzheimer's and dementia while it is not always easy. I've learned that doing whatever you can to make their days a little bit better or keeping them interactive can make a big difference. I'm a mother of one beautiful daughter and two adorable dogs. I love animals and would adopt them all if I had the room. I'm a very kind, patient and honest person looking to take of someone who needs the help or just the support of a daily caregiver.

I've been a caregiver since 2007, and I love it. The main reason i became a caregiver is because of my grandmother and my best friends grandmother. They both had caregivers come into the house and assist them with showering, grooming, oral care, transferring and feeding. See those caregivers i knew that being a caregiver is something that i would love to do. The thing i love most about being a caregiver is that being there for someone less fortunate, the companionship we develop, and just the fact that I'm apart of theirs lives is what brings me joy.

I've never been a caregiver but I've always wanted to be one. Im very friendly and kind hearted and love to help others. This will be a great job for me I'm very caring and love to work with all types of people. I can be a great employee. I get along with everyone.
