My Name is Dominique Moultrie I'm 24 years old with lots of caregiving experience I began in 2014 and been doing it every since with adults and children. It's something I enjoy doing knowing I can help people and they can depend on me. It's my passion because I'm going to school to become a registered nurse. Some of my personality traits are I'm very compassionate, I have patience and great communication skills.

What makes me a good caregiver is, I have empathy for the people that I take Care of. I've been a caregiver for 7 years and truly enjoy my clients and their families. What I enjoy Most about being a caregiver; is the stories that I get the privilege of hearing from the clients about their past. A personal achievement that I'm proud of, would be the relationship that I gain with the client and their family. I like to ease the family's mind, knowing that their loved one is in good hands.

I'm a very caring caregiver I been around caregiver my whole life my mother auntie and grandmother other family members I the field I'm very proud to be able come in people life help take of their love ones,

I'm currently in nursing school ,My passion is taking care of people .I knew nursing was my passion when my grandfather was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer .It was a fulfillment knowing that I could take care of him as he had done for me .

I became a caregiver because I want to make a difference. What I love about being a caregiver is the smiles upon faces. Just knowing that I am the reason for this is what makes me happy about being a caregiver. My personal achievements that I'm proud of is I went to school to become an CNA, hospice, HHA and I also went to take my state test an I pass. I'm very dependable, easy going , I get along with everyone. I'm a people person. I love making people smile.

I have been in the field for a while now it first satrted for me being a caregiver to my grandmother, as i gotten close to her doctors and medical team i took futher action and started seeking traning and schooling for my grandmother tp provide better care and gain knowledge and skills to properly take care of her. And all that turned into a career, once i got finished with certain i started working rehab facility's and senior living facility, i loved seeing the seniors smiling and so happy to see me even became known on first name basis. I loved seeing my residents/ and cilents smile, knowing i made a difference.

I have worked with many people with many different needs and requirements including but not limited to, dementia, diabetes, ALS, TBIs, paraplegic, Hospice and cardiovascular disease. I too had a love one who needed great care and even at a young age was able to give all I could. Since then touching the lives of others anyway that I can has been my greatest accomplishment as a caregiver.
