Hello. I've been caregiving for about 3 years now. I love helping and taking care of people. I've always wanted to be a light to my patients and their family. I think my favorite part about caregiving has to be the bonds that i build with them.

My professional and personal experiences include providing care for seniors, developmentally disabled adults, individuals with chronic health conditions, and those with mental health concerns. These experiences guide my ability to provide supportive companionship and care for your loved one. Having recently retired as a school counselor, I am ready to use my extensive experiences caring for a variety of adults and teens to provide a positive environment for those in my care. My name is Rebecca and I am a recent graduate of Mississippi State University. I received a degree in Biochemistry with a concentration in forensic sciences. In such classes taken, I have had the opportunity to extensively study many disorders, in which I have become rather familiar with them. My grandmother began taking care of the elderly when I was a child. She took me to meet all of her patients, which gave me the opportunity to connect and understand the relationship with a caregiver and their patient. Witnessing these connections allowed myself to become interested in caregiving while I have the chance. It is not a field that I will remain in, but I feel that I will acquire many skills and experience a different side of the medical world.
