I love working with seniors, they are humble, appreciative for the help, wisdom. Getting someone to do something, they never would think of ever doing, I try motivate my clients to do for themselves. You have to have some compassion, when dealing with older clients. I'm strong minded, work will alone, and team player. Responsible, honest, compassionate, etc...

Very attentive, patience is everything and tremendously dedicated! I've been in the field for 15 years or so and I wouldn't trade what I love to do for anything! It was when both parents fell Ill and I became their sole caregiver, after they passed I knew this was my calling. To provide exceptional care with so much compassion. I had a hand of taking care of my grandfather when he was in his later stage of his life. It was the love, I had to take care of him and the passion I had. That's one of the reasons, I love being a caregiver. I love to see when I'm making a difference in someone life knowing I'm there to help in ever kind of way. I have been a caregiver since 2009. I enjoy every minute of it. I enjoy making a difference is someone else's life. I strive to accomplish my patients every day needs before completing my tasks. I want to be the reason why my patients smile. I want to leave a smile on my patients face and know they can count on me to help and assist them. Hey im jvania I love to help elders it hurts me to see an elder not treated properly and taken care of properly. I'm a gentle quiet person I love doing things others aren't able to the less for elders the merry the why of caregiving to me is seeing the smile on a seniors face and cooping with them to get where they'd love to be one thing I'm very proud of is the patients I have with others I met a lady who couldnt walk I pushed her and motivated her and helped as much as I was allowed to and a few weeks later she didnt need a walker she could go home

I have been working in healthcare since I was 19 years old. I worked at my local hospital for about 12 years and in that time, I learned how to do many different jobs and was always open to learning more. I quickly found that this was what I was meant to do and I was naturally good at it, and it made me feel good to know that I was doing what I was meant to do. I treat people as if they were my own family and try to remember what it would be like to be in their situation. I always listen to what family and loved ones tell me because they know better than me and working together provides the best outcome.

As a teenager when I used to care for my grandmother I always knew that I wanted to be a caregiver. I have been certified as a nursing assistant since June 2001. I love helping people because it's so rewarding. I just received my certification as CNA II May 2014. I am also CPR certified. Starting in the early 80"s I watched my aunt dressed in all white going to work every day, and returning home looking the same way and she would talk to me about her day. I felt that was the best job to have. I started working in nursing homes since then, being certified in 1990 when it became required. I have 25+ yrs experience, also with tracheal patients, dialysis patients, hospice care, Alz. and Dementia clients. A personal experience with Alz. patients. I love what I do with compassion, very detailed oriented with patience.

I have 20 plus years of experience as a CNA/PCA. What attracted me to this field was I took the class in high school and afterwards was offered a job. I feel my experience has given me knowledgeable to show empathy, patience and understanding to my clients needs. What I enjoy most about being a PCA is that it allows me to have a one on one connection with the client and the family so they can stay in a familiar environment. One of my most personal achievements is being able to get my associates degree while taking care of my family.
