Others as well ad myself would say that I am a very outgoing and optimistic individual. I love to laugh and bring joy to others in any way that I can. My passion for caregiving began when I was a young girl. Always wanting to help others. The things I enjoy most is feeling and knowing that I somehow accomplished helping someone's day be better.

I am caring, professional, compassionate, openminded and very patient. My 11 years of experiance as a CNA and 3 years as a Medical Assistant have groomed me to be a great caregiver. When I was 19 my grandmother was diagnosed with demtia, she declined rapidly and our family did not want to put her in a nursing home but we needed some extra hands in her care. We decided to hire a caregiver to help us in giving my grnadmother the proper care while keeping her comfortable at home. The caregiver turned out to be a young, untrained and untrustworthy person, our family was devastated and wanted to keep everyone away from my grnadmother after that. Some time had passed and I thought to myself I would make a great caregiver to my grandmother and so did my family. That is where my desire to be a great caregiver was born.

Hello! My name is Jennifer, I am a 38 year old single mother of 4. I believe that my role as a full-time, hands on mom gives me the experience to be a great caregiver. I use schedules and reminders to keep everything running smoothly. I enjoy being able to help others live there best lives. My experience as a caregiver has been my with my children and my favorite part is watching them learn and grow. Being able to be a part of their accomplishments is very rewarding. One accomplishment that I am most proud of is going back to school. I started again back in 2021 and I am still at it. It's been rough at times, but I know the impact it will have on my life in the future will be great. I am currently studying psychology.

I'm retired, looking for something more on a part-time basis. I have been a care giver for Hospice in New Bern NC for years. I have worked with Dementia patients, with dietary restrictive patients, Cancer patients. I have done light cleaning, bathing, laundry, ensures med were being taken, alerted when meds needed. I enjoy ensuring that the people I have been paired with are well taken care of and the needs they have are met, if not by me, I don't mind stepping aside to allow for trained professionals work with the patient. I like to ensure the patient is getting all I have to give them. I am a Non- smoker I did not have the COVID shots or any of the boosters for COVID.

I began assisting with caregiving at the age of 15 when my Grandmother was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia.. After assisting my Mother with her care throughout my high school years I decided at the age of 18 I would register to enroll in the CNA course. I had no intentions of stopping there , I also enrolled in curriculum courses at the local college to take my prerequisites towards the RN program. After two years of college I was already a CNA and had completed my prerequisites for the Nursing program. I applied for the program and at this time it was very competitive . I didn't get accepted, but a friend advised me to to enroll in the Medical Assisting Program. This was successful; I completed the program and became a Medical Assistant in August 2007. I plan to re-apply for the RN program in the future. I have been in the Healthcare profession for 10yrs and I love it. Caregiving I believe has came to me as a God given passion and skill. My Grandmother who just celebrated her 82nd is being cared for by me and Mother. She is now bed bound but has acquired no skin breakdown, or any other issues that can stem from being restricted to the bed. I have had an impact on my patients throughout the years , almost as much as they have had on me, and I plan to continue helping individuals in the future.

I am 38yrs old and I have worked in the healthcare industry for 18+ years. I started in assisted living doing aide duties. I then worked my way up to medication technician, then to resident care coordinator. During that time I also went to school and achieved my EMT liscence. After 10yrs at the same facility I chose to resign and Perdue my EMS career. I have always enjoyed taking care of people, it is the most fullfilling and personally rewarding thing to me. I am honest, dependable, trustworthy, and empathetically compassionate.

Ever since 2017 I have loved taking care of the elderly because it brings me joy to see them smile. I want to further my experience and start my own private senior care business.
