I am responsible, hard working, dependable and trustworthy. Caregiving comes naturally to me. Growing up I would visit my great-uncle and aunt in the nursing home with my grandmother and help her with tasks for them that they could not do. These are precious memories for me. Prior to my management career in retail, I worked in daycares with all ages. Both of these fields have came with experiences that have taught me paitence, attentiveness and professionalism. I currently work in an assisted living facility as the lead Medication Technician on the memory care unit. I administer medications, give insulin shots, take vitals, and keep narcotics records up to DHEC standards. I have a lot of experience working with Alzheimer's, dementia, traumatic brain injuries, etc. I'm finding that my work is becoming a bit too stressful with school. I'd love to find a job caring for just one or two elderly adults. I enjoy making crafts, cooking healthy meals, and being outdoors. I love gardening and being and being around animals. I also have experience in the activities department.
