Being a caregiver goes beyond a certificate of completion or a license indicating that one is qualified to give healthcare to others. To me, being a caregiver means to put the patient first and yourself last. It means compassion and patience. It means empathy and sensitivity towards patients and families of patients. Being a caregiver means going above and beyond the call of duty and rendering service to humanity, to nurture, to be skilled and most of all, to be understanding. I believe the aforementioned statements best describe me.

I am working full time as a nursing assistant and I am a first aid/ CPR certified. Hard working and a team player.

I am Colombian and work in Colombia as a teacher of science and biology and always taught my students the care of nature and the good treatment of others. In addition, I worked with 10 and 11 high school students, a program of care and recreation for children victims of domestic violence. When I arrived in the United States, I had the opportunity to care for over 11 years to an elderly couple, she had Alzheimer, and her husband had Parkinson. After they passed away, I had been caring babies, for almost a year to my granddaughter and after I am caring a baby from 3 months old until now that is 17 months and he will go to daycare. Always, I liked taking care of people, help them to make a decent living and working in the care of their illnesses and everything they need.I am very patient and love caring people.

I became a caregiver due to the love i had for kids, and then the love extented to elderly's as i myself have an elderly parents whom i love and care for most, i like being a caregiver because i see it as a therapy to ones mind, i find pleasure in making my clients smile and full of joy as i am a very positive person and loves to reincarnate positive around me. when i was in high school and even in college i used to be recognized as student of the month. most attentive and concerned. i am an African American, from Nigeria

Because I'm already a medical assistant, I love taking care of people and it make me confortable taking care of people. Which I'm caring and loving for them and very patience with. My personal achievement is to make them happy and confortable. I am ame ducal assistant for 9 years love taking care of patient. A full time mom and a student and a full time job as well.

1. I became a caregiver to take care of people who are in need. 2. I like the fact that I am helping people do the things that they can no longer do. 3. I am going to college so that one day I can have my own business, being in college alone is a great achievement for me. 4. I love helping people, as a caregiver the patient I work with ALWAYS love the way I do things. My patients are my top priority. I know how to use an hoyer lift, I do bed baths, clean dentures, light housework, assist with walking, I run errands and do just about anything my patient needs.

My kind kind, and caring heart, made me a great care giver. Just knowing that I can lend an helping hand to those who are in need of respect, in up holding their indignity at a time in their life when they are not able to take proper care of themselves. I am there to stretch forth my hand and give them someone to trust and reach out to for my help, that they are badly in need of. That is what made me a great care giver.

I am a son, a father, a brother and a friend, are a deferents rolls in my live. I understand the mean of the word empathy, and I think I have this feeling for our parents. In one moment in our lives everything going to stop, and the only important is what we have in our heart.
