Hi! My name is Pamela. I enjoy working with seniors because I have so much to learn from them. I also realized when I helped care for my grandmother who died of cancer while I was in college, that I have a very nurturing side. I am an aesthetician by trade and have had many elderly clients who would simply enjoy the conversation as well as the physical contact during the session. I love being someone who could brighten their day. I am a certified Patient Care Technician. I do have my own transportation (my car is insured) so running errands and shopping isn't an issue. I am also fully vaccinated fully vaccinated and have received my COVID boosters. I have experience with medication prompting and patient bathing/grooming. I also have experience with clients with memory loss/Alzheimer's. I am certified in Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aid & AED. I do not have an issue with meal prepping . I was raised with pets from cats to dogs to birds to lizards so pets aren't a problem. I am also a non-smoker. I currently have an elderly patient in Toms River during the hrs of 8-10A & 3-5P Monday thru Friday, however I am currently looking for new employment. Our elders need caregivers with these traits, because often they can't communicate themselves, or they simply don't know what's wrong.
