I enjoy helping the older population to maintain quality of life and to maintain their independence in their home. I have educational, personal, and professional experience as a caregiver for more than ten years. I have a certificate as a home health aide since 2007. I have worked in an assisted living facility, individual homes, and a hospital. I am a responsible and caring person that will provide exceptional care to your loved one. My name is Sandie and I first started caregiving with my grandmother. I found that I like to help people complete every day tasks and be able to feel independent. I have some medical training in my background as I became a licensed phlebotomist in 2012. I am also a mom to 4 kids, aged 11 through 15, which means I am always taking care of someone. Helping my children to become respectable and responsible people is something I take pride in. It can be challenging at times but I'm always up for a challenge. I work at a nursing home on weekends. I mostly help out in the kitchen but I do like to be able to see residents and help make their day a little better in any way I can. I am a retired registered Nurse (currently a stay at home mom).with more than 14 years experience in multiple fields of practice. From infancy to 100year olds I have seen a lot . Life and death. I have assisted families with the feelings involved around each of these events. I became a registered nurse after working for three years as a CNA. I enjoy working in home care far more than any hospital work I ever did. My proudest achievements include my 3 sons. Hello I have seven years of experience in home healthcare. I'm currently getting my bachelors degree in April. I have many specialties when working in a home mainly companionship, I worked with medication passing, also worked closely with dementia and in Parkinson's My main goal when working at a house is helping maintain independence.
