I am a hardworking caregiver that is very patient and compassionate to those whom I care for. Putting on a smile on someone's face for assisting them to do something that most people take a granted gives me great joy. I love help and encouraging people who are in my care and to see the progress they make is a great feeling

My name is Bruce Teal-Sims, born and raised in New York. I love fast paced environments and meeting new people. I love to spark conversation and helping people the best way I can.

I became a Caregiver because I enjoy helping others and it makes me feel good as a person.The best thing I like about being a Caregiver is the reassurance that you can give the family that their love one is being well cared for in the privacy of their home . My proud moment that I've had as a Caregiver is letting client know that am here to assist them so they can remain confident and also still have their indepence. I've been a Caregiver for about 5+ years . I did the training gained the necessary skills to do the job . I was also a Childcare Provider for about 1 year . With recently completing training to become a License and Certified Nurse's Aide /Assistant . I love my job because it helps me gain experience to keep pushing myself to want to go back to school and become a Registered Nurse because that's what I want to achieve in life . My job description is bathing (bed bath , shower) ,grooming, skin care,foot care ,making bed (occupied,unocuppied),light housekeeping , running errands , accompanying to Doctors appointments , supervise safety , urinary drainage,rehabilitative equipment (wheel chair,walker,cane, etc),hoyer lift and including a wide array of skills not mention .

What helps me to be a great home caregiver is my empathy and compassion by showing both my clients would know I really care about them and do what they can to help them. I'm patient reliable and trustworthy. What I enjoy most of being a caregiver is the natural urge I have to help people because often times I placed a priority on helping people because I want the world to become a better place.Becoming a good home caregiver isn't something that will necessarily happen immediately, but if the basic qualities are there, those people can develop their skills over time to become great.

I am very compassionate, patient and I pay attention to details. I choose to be a caregiver because I will be given the opportunity to help some and improve their wellbeing. I love when I can put a smile on someone's face and let them know that someone care.

I've always dedicated my time to perfection to no matter what task ahead. I've enjoyed helping others and to give good quality care to my best ability. I want to gain more knowledge and expand my skills within this company.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I like helping people I'm an honest and genuine person. I believe that helping someone in need is a great thing and it makes that person happy and in a better mood.
