My experience has taught me patience and compassion for individuals afflicted with mental and physical disabilities requiring assistance with daily activities. I am able to handle patients who are ambivalent about their need for outside help and understand the psychological stress individuals face when having to give up their independence and need to rely on others. It is especially rewarding knowing my work is making a difference in people's lives.

I'm a mother of 5 so I understand the importance of safety and taking great care of your loved ones. I've been a certified Home Health Aide for about 20 years now. A few personality traits that help me be a great caregiver would be my patience and my compassion to take care of your loved ones, I'm very reliable and my time is flexible as well. One thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is that i do more than look after my patients and attend to their needs, the bond that we develop after spending time together they become almost family to me.

I am a Mother of two grown children whom I enjoyed raising. I also have elderly parents whom have had various health issues that I am accustomed to managing. I love animals, I have four adorable dogs who I take care of as well. I am CPR certified and am available for evening and overnight care.

I am a patient and caring person. I live in Windsor Gardens and live with my Father who is 91. I and my siblings and hired caregivers allow me the opportunity to work outside of the home. Caregiving has been very gratifying and meaningful to me.

Attention to Detail: I pay close attention to the medical, emotional, and physical needs of my patients to provide the best possible care. Professionalism: Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions and respecting patient confidentiality. Knowledge and Training: I like staying up-to-date with medical knowledge and regularly attending training to enhance my caregiving skills. 1. I haven't been a professional caregiver, but I helped take care of my mother who was diagnosed with cancer for 10 years. 2. I love making a difference in people's lives. Working with my mother, I've seen how important it is for people to not only have help with home care and cooking, but also to just be there and have good conversation and laugh with. People with disabilities need good human interaction in order to keep from going into depression. One of the things I do every day when I wake up is looking forward to putting a smile on people's faces and making a difference. 3. When my mother passed away, I kept going and living life. I took a year off from school, but I ended up going back and I'm doing my best to live life to the fullest as she taught me in her honor. She was such a special person and I always try to give people a little taste of her when they're talking to me. I told her I wouldn't be able to live without her, so the fact that I'm still getting up and doing what I need to do every day is a big accomplishment to me. 4. I'm a very outgoing, happy, loving, and caring person. I love having a good time and laughing. I feel like my purpose in life is to make a difference in other's lives, which is why I'm choosing to be a caregiver. I get along with everybody and i enjoy helping others in any situation. I know I will be the perfect caregiver for any client.

I am thoughtful and looking to assist wherever needed. I wanted to have a job that gave back something to the community. It makes me feel good when a patient is difficult and I win them over with kindness and/or a joke. I have done the livescan as well as having a current TB shot.
