I consistently strive to and do achieve the highest standard of comfort and professional service wherever I have worked. My career goal is to take care of the elderly to the best of my ability. I always treat them in a way that they deserve to be treated during this period of their lives, which is full of transition and new hardships. I like to work in an intellectually challenging environment, where I can put my many skills to good use. I believe it's important to learn about the people's past and understand their stories, what their lives were like; in order to truly be able to properly care for them.

I have been a personal caregiver for over 30 years. I have obtained a master's degree along the way and I still enjoy caring for the elderly and infirm. I find it so rewarding to provide someone with a much needed smile and the sincere caring that we all need. I've worked both in nursing homes and in homehealth. I try to care for my clients as if they were part of my family.

I see this position as an opportunity to exercise my interest in working with seniors to provide the best support possible. I'm a retired physician and so I've had professional training in caring and good bedside manner. My practice generally served a geriatric population and my patients absolutely loved me. I am very patient with babies, children and the elderly. I have great communication skills, extreme patience, and a very '"HAPPY", bubbly, personality. I took care of my mother through her battle with pancreatic cancer. I was also a high school teacher, and my most recent job was working with children, as a youth development counselor. I love music, art and physical activity. I play piano,guitar, I sing , I'm creative and enjoy crafting. I also love pets.

I became a caregiver because I wanted to help people and at times others need an extra hand whether it maybe with everyday things around the house or it could be with providing intense custodial care.
