I love listening to stories of how things once were, even if it's the tenth time. I am able to assist with meal prep as well as grocery shopping and medication reminders. I believe providing in-home care is fundamental to the emotional, mental and physical well-being of older persons and that this care is also essential in easing the minds of family members who have taken on the responsibility of over-seeing the welfare of an elderly family member. I became a caregiver because I genuinely love helping everyone I can, the best way I can. I love the smile on an individual's face after I've helped them. I enjoy knowing that I can make someone happy by simply being there for them. I am proud of what I do on the daily basis. I work with MRDD individuals and it brings me so much joy! I made the decision when I was 16 years old that I would make a living helping any and everyone I could. I plan on keeping up with my decision. This is only the beginning!.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I love seeing the joy on someone face after you did something good for them or just see how a person show health results due to the service you do for them.
