I'd describe my personality as cheerful, outgoing, compassionate. I started working in healthcare as a medical assistant but it has now evolved into providing more personalized care for seniors, both in an assisted living facility and in their own homes. I can assist with ADL's, and I have some experience with memory care and hospice care from my time working in an assisted living facility. Iam a compassionate individual who loves caring and helping individuals with ADL'S. I took care of my grandma for 10 years after she had a major stroke. that's why there is a gap in my work references. I enjoy taking care of individuals and not only caring for them but truly listening .some indviduals can't speak because of a stroke language barriers so it's up to us to figure out what they r Q&Aatrying to say so they still fell important and like a person. Quality care is the only way to go for our loved ones.

I am a very outgoing person and love to be around people. I am very talkative when I meet the person and I think we would have a great time together! I love art, music, shopping, etc. I love being a caregiver because u meet new people and just have a great time! What attracted me to be a caregiver is all the wounderful people and just being around someone.

3 years ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer and put on hospice. I had the opportunity then to help care for him and have been caring and assisting others since then. After his passing I worked as a caregiver in an assisted living facility and as a personal in home caregiver and I love it! I love helping people, making sure they're comfortable and have what they need. I love seeing people smile. I have experience working with dementia, stroke patients, partial paralysis and many other things. My name is Tyraya, I have always been a caregiver at heart. I am the oldest sister of 3 so I was a live in babysitter to begin. I am family oriented and am always willing to help. I love my job and I love making people smile especially those who think they have run out of smiles.

I think I am a good caregiver because I have a big heart and helping the elderly gives me satisfaction and fulfillment. Hello, I'm a 24 female caregiver from Portland, OR. I've been in the caregiving industry for 6 years now. I've been all over the place in these past 6 years.
