Hello, I'm Kathryn but you can call me Katie! I enjoy assisting residents with having the best quality of life possible and if we laugh and have a good time to then we are both winning in life! I have been a caregiver for 16+years. I started caring for children in my neighborhood when I was 12 years old and knew then that I would grow up caring for others. During high school I was in a volunteer program for elderly companionship and truely enjoyed spending time with the people I've met. I love listening to stories, reading books, playing favorite games, and bringing laughs to their bedside tables. If I help a laugh or smile I feel like I'm doing my job right. I know pretty much all the tricks of the trade when it comes to just about anything that comes up in a situation for a person once I've gotten to know them and their daily routine. I focus on client based care, and meeting the clients needs and comfort is priority and I do as best possible with what tools I have to work with.

Aloha! My name is Sheila; I've been working in the health care industry for five years. There are so many things that I love about working in this industry, especially working with the elders. I grew up watching my mother foster elders at our home, which lured me to start my journey as a caregiver. I have earned my certificate as a Nursing Assistant and am currently furthering my education. Throughout my journey as a caregiver, I've worked with elders with different specialized needs, such as Parkinson's, quadriplegia, memory care, and assisted living. I've also worked alongside hospice care and helped with the patient's end-of-life routine. As for companionship, I am patient, kind, and very easygoing. My name is Kimberly. I'm from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but moved to Portland, Oregon in 2014 after the passing of my father. I was my father's caregiver while he was battling cancer, during which time I was very young and still in school. After his passing, I decided I needed a change in scenery and decided to go on a cross-country road trip to Portland; I just wound up deciding to stay here! Since I have been here, I've been working in caregiving. I truly believe that I am one of the best caregivers that anyone could find. I'm compassionate, kind, understanding, flexible and try to support as much independence for all of my residents. I have always and will always be a person that cares for others, whether its at work or with my family. I consistently go above and beyond for any individual that I work for or care for!

I have been care-giving for many years, working in home care and on the floor in various care facilities. I am very empathetic and good listener. I'm a 31-year-old wife and mother of 2 young boys. I have 15+ years of experience as a caregiver/healthcare provider/medical provider for seniors, children and individuals with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Hello my name is Kathryn I'm from Oregon originally but have been in NC for 8 years I have a 7 years old girl. And this is what I love to do. I started when I was 16 taking care of my grandparents and continue to this day. This isn't just some job for me.

I'm FIRST AID and CPR/A.E.D. Certified... I'm a very caring and loving person that loves to take care of other people.. I'm a mother of 4 wonderful kids and 1 granddaughter... I have multiple sclerosis but I keep going and don't let it take over my life...
