I am a certified Administrator for RCFE, licensed Pharmacy Technician, CNA/ Med Tech and well experienced in senior care giving. I am currently working as an in-home caregiver and CNA/MedTech in multi-level senior community. I am very dependable, trustworthy and compassionate to seniors. I managed to get along with senior clients of different culture and background. I can assist in cooking, feeding, showering, toileting, grooming/dressing, medication reminder, run errands like shopping or grocery, bring to doctor's appointment, laundry, light house keeping, recreational activities and companionship. I can work out a schedule that will be suitable for both of us.

Am a lady of 49 years old going to my 50th, born and brought up in Kenya Africa. We lived with my grandmother whom l was used to help my mother take care of. That way we became so close and more so since l am named after her and that is how l learnt the initial stages of care giving. To me helping people in need is my passion and it gives me a lot of joy when l see the appreciation and smiles on their faces.

I became a Nurse Assistant due to my Grandmothers last wishes for me to learn how to take care of my Grandfather when he gets sick and in capable of doing for himself. I never had the chance to take care of him due to a sudden death but as i kept working as a CNA i learned to be compassionate and have more patients with people. i love my job and ive been taking care of 9-17 patients at one time in the facility im located in. My personal achievement is that i learned to keep positive , no matter how bad times get rough with my patient because at the end of the day i still put a smile on someones face. I was born in SanFrancisco, Ca and resided in Vallejo, Ca as well. i love dogs. i Have two kids... a boy and a girl. im a single mother and still doing what i have to do to make sure my kids have the world. i love doing laundry and folding clothes. eveyone thinks im wierd but its something i like to do to relax besides reading a ruban fiction book.

I have compassion towards people. I am caring, hardworking, and helpful. I do light housekeeping, bathing, personal hygiene, food preparation, laundry, and companionship.

Though I am currently certified as a Medical Assistant, I had volunteered at Samaritan House Medical clinic, later became a paid employee.I have several past years of experience as Nursing assistant and caregiver. As a caregiver I provide exceptional care with great understanding and compassion for all clients: I have been in this field for many years, and absolutely enjoy the work I do. My name is Ashley. I live in Auburn with my boyfriend, step son and two crazy dogs :). I ultimately became a caregiver because I love helping people and I love the companionship part of it. I have a very broad range of job experience in the medical field and I always end up back at care giving because it is the most rewarding for me. I love being around people and I am very family oriented. My goal in my home life, as well as work, is to help everyone as much as I can and make everyone as comfortable as I can. The personal achievement I'm most proud of is my schooling. I attended Sierra College and received three Associate Degrees in Biological Sciences, Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences. I'm a former C.N.A. with a passion for nursing care in general. I have years of experience with Alzheimer's patients. I'm also a Pharmacy Technician with a license to work in the state of California. Also, CPR and First Aid certified.

I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to meet new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh!
