I am currently going to school to become a nurse. I have always had a passion to help people and make their days better. I have a very bubbly and outgoing personality, as well as a good sense of humor. Making sure people can still have great life's, and helping them accomplish at least 1 thing a day is what drove me to be the best caregiver. The smile on people's faces is what I enjoy about being a caregiver.

Over the years I have been very passionate about helping elders with their daily activities and any assistance they may need. When working with my grandfather with alzheimer's I was able to learn how to work with someone who suffers from memory loss. This taught me so much and made me fall in love with caregiving and being a companion to those that lack one. I am proud of my ability to understand and be kind to the elder community, and I am excited to get to work and bond with them further.

I enjoy working one on one with people and getting to know them as a person, rather than a client. I believe that people should be able to live how they would like to live, regardless of the state of their health--if you're not enjoying life, then what is the point? I am patient and empathetic, and try to always think of how I'd like to be treated if the roles were reversed.

I love working as a caregiver since I was 15 years I always take care of my grandma and helped out with needs just as bathing, cleaning dressing, toileting, making a meals for her and walking around. Because of the love I have for my grandma made me to love caring other adults in the same way I love taking care of my grandma I see every client as my grandma.

I started care giving as a young child. Being raised by grandparents who were very ill from a very young age, i realized the importance of care giving. I took care of all my grandparents through their illnesses and deaths. I have had the blessings of caring for many family members, and friends families. i treat each person as their own self. Each person Ive had the blessings have taught me many things. I just simply have the light inside that many long for and need. My passion lies here others need. I am the light in the darkness so many need to see.

I have been in the field of caregiving for many years in various ways. I have done volunteer work for a day program with people with dementia. After that I worked through Senior Services with different individuals and for the 12 yearsI have worked with people with developmental disabilities. I've been a support staff as well as a house manager have helped with toileting, cooking, bathing, grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments, and passing medication.
