My name is Zaria Jones and I am a young college student with a passion for caregiving. In my opinion, caregiving is the greatest form of love. I am very passionate about caring for individuals and willing to go through lengths to keep them content and comfortable. I always admired my great grandmother and how she lived to 100 with little to no help from any one else and I want to be a caregiver to try and ensure a way of life for other elderly folk.

i have experience with providing a safe and comfortable space for older people who need help with daily activities. I've been doing this job just by how i helping my grandparents in the house after my grandpa stroke and it inspired me to apply to position to help older people in need. I have an amazing time getting to know all my clients and i am trying to find clients closer to me which would be in the north east/ bensalem area.

I believe I am a great fit for any family looking for a caregiver because I am a very punctual person so I will always be there the time I am scheduled to be. I also have worked for a caregiver company and always recieved praise for how much I take charge and take care of my clients. I got into caregiving because both of my grandparents had gotten sick and needed in home care. I took it upon myself to take care of both of my grandparents so they could live independently as long as possible. I have a drive and a talent for caring for people and it makes me happy when I am doing it. My accomplishment I was most proud of was my college degree.

Ever since I was a little girl elderly people where like second nature to me. I grew up in a loving home with my grandparents AND great grandparents. There was never a dull moment. My grandmother owned her own hair salon out of her home and all she did was elderly peoples hair. She would travel to different nursing and retirement homes and i would always tag along. Meeting new elderly people was so refreshing to me I instantly become best friends with them. Most of the time they would call me their grand daughter. So growing up there was nothing I loved more. When i was sixteen i got a job at a retirement home as a server i would take orders and serve the elderly dealing with dementia and much more and on my days off i would come in and just hangout with them and make them laugh and smile there was no better feeling i then become a home health aide for a little bit until the lady i worked with passed away. I am now looking for another lovely "best friend".

I have been a caregiver since I can remember back to the age of 11-12 and helped take care of grandfather and siblings. I started by taking nursing classes at the age of 15, I worked in nursing homes and hospitals and decided I wanted to be in the geriatric field at that time. I went to the montgomery county vo-tech school from 1980-1983 and almost all of our time was spent in the field hands on to teach us all the aspects of nursing and to help us decide where we would like to continue. I have been out of nursing a few years and I'm looking forward to doing what I love and have missed. While I was working with executive maids I was able to partially continue with care for homeowners in need of help.

I am in school to be an X ray tech, but I do plan to continue my career as a Home Health Aid when I graduate.

My name is Kimberly. I'm from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but moved to Portland, Oregon in 2014 after the passing of my father. I was my father's caregiver while he was battling cancer, during which time I was very young and still in school. After his passing, I decided I needed a change in scenery and decided to go on a cross-country road trip to Portland; I just wound up deciding to stay here! Since I have been here, I've been working in caregiving. I truly believe that I am one of the best caregivers that anyone could find. I'm compassionate, kind, understanding, flexible and try to support as much independence for all of my residents. I have always and will always be a person that cares for others, whether its at work or with my family. I consistently go above and beyond for any individual that I work for or care for!

My first job after graduating high school was working in a nursing home One of the employees their told me about home care once I started doing homecare I decided that was for me sometime later I decided to go to college for nursing however I ended up taking care of my father who was diagnosed with cancer so I was not able to complete my education then my mother's diabetes got worse I took care of her also I also have taken care of friends and their families I have been offered many private duty cases and people that have found me through agencies eventually hire me privately the reward for me in being a CNA is knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone life at a time when they need it most

I am the oldest sibling out of 7. I have always helped care for my younger brothers and sisters . My great grandmother has health issues and I help her with doctor appointments , making phone calls, shopping, etc . I love just being a companion so that no one ever has to feel alone . I want to be a care giver because I want to be the person I'd want taking care of one of my family members . I'm trustworthy, caring and very compassionate for those in need .
