I have vast experience working under a Service Area Director at a company owned programs . Trained on the job as a Manager. Am CPR and First aid trained. Am looking forward to go for LPN program. Am also a beautician . Graduated from an international cosmetology school. Am a Single mother of two boys .

I started doing home care after watching what my family went through with my nana that was very stressful and the cost was very high with the companies that offer employment through their companies. I enjoy what I do and with my patients I find that they become like family and that each one deserves the highest form of care and respect. I have done this type of work for many years and have enjoyed it very much and I have been with many of them and their families up til the end of their lives . I have been supportive and helpful as well to the families through it all . Even though my degree is in marketing and my main position includes managing/maintaining rental properties that we own on Chincoteague Island, I have always felt the need to help others in any way that I am able. I have experience working in a hospital as well as at clients' homes and have recently become a volunteer with Coastal Hospice. I am blessed to have a very flexible schedule so am simply looking for opportunities to assist where needed whether it be with daily care or just as a companion. My hubby (Steve) and I share the love of cooking so that is also a skill that I am able to offer. To this day, my 94-year old Grandmother tells me that I should have been a nurse and that I missed my real calling.
