I am so lucky and blessed to have found my true calling in the field of Elder Care! I believe that every individual deserves to live as happy, safe, and fulfilling a life as possible and care for my clients like they are my own family. I try to perform my caregiving tasks exactly the same way that the patient and their family prefer and take pride in my reliability and honesty.

1. I have a deep fondness for the elderly. I sense this is what I'm meant to do in life. 2. Relating, listening to them, make their lives a little brighter 3. When I can get my "patient" to smile and make their life a little easier 4. I've been doing home care with the elderly over 10 years. I like to get to know the person individually and adapt to their interests and needs.

I am very hard working, team player, honest, and respectful. I have experence in working with all kinds of people, nursing home, hospitals, home care, and more. I enjoy taking care of people, that is all I know. My greaty achievement that I am pround of is servicing my commuinty as a Vice President. I am able to reach out to old, young, and people that are in need. Also a mother of my church for four years.

Hello Family (: At the age 15 I was determined to find my place in the world and know what I was working towards. I did research on many jobs out there, looked at what was in demand, and took personality tests to see what was a good fit. After that, I came to a conclusion and had decided that nursing was the route I wanted to take for a career. My journey being in the healthcare field started when I was 19 after I went to school and completed the Patient Care Technician Program. That certification included phlebotomy, EKG, CNA and Advanced CNA. After that I worked full time at a rehabilitation center/nursing home for about 6 months. Then I moved on to working at a hospital for almost two years. I absolutely loved my job. what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the joy of serving, helping, loving, and caring for others. I am a christian and the Lord says that the greatest commandment we can live by is to love others. For the last few years I had met my husband and we had a beautiful little girl whom I've been caring for. Now I am ready to come back to my career part-time. Thank you so much for considering me. I love what I do it's not a job to me it's a passion people depend on me to help them with thing they might not be able to do any more and I help them with pride at the same time with respect for how they fill with out over doing my job a remembering how they might fill and also showing compassion when needed as well as and listing ear to them as well because some time they want to be heard also so I try to remember that they still gave filling and are sometimes unsure of you in there house as well as in there life I like to let them fill that I'm here to help and that they can trust me as well and relax and enjoy our time together.

I took care of my grandmother who is 76 years old and has dementia. I also took care of a woman who was 70 years old with Parkisons and dementia. I assisted in bathing, oral care, anything hygiene, diapers, washing clothing , cleaning , medications ,basiclly everything and meal preparations, and just a companion. I first began caregiving when I was about 20 years old and my neighbor was diagnosed with cancer. I helped her with showering, medication administration and a healthy diet. I also took her to doctor appointments. This was where it all began and what attracted me to this profession. I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate, kind and patient. One of my greatest achievements as a caregiver is when I worked in hospice care and was able to give a patient the best quality of life at the end of their life and to have the honor to be with them until the very end.

Hello! My name is Amber. I have 3 years experience working as a clerk and helping with care for residents on a memory care unit of a skilled nursing facility. I am a current nursing student so I also have hands-on experience that I have gained and continue to gain from my clinical experiences. I am CPR certified, and a mother of 2 children so I can multitask and work well under pressure. At the moment I am looking for something part time to work around my full time school schedule, available weekends or some weekdays after 3pm

The best part of being a caretaker to me is that it comes naturally. I Always want to go to work if a person is willing to have me in there home. I believe that can be very hard to have a stranger come into your somewhat personal life. I always try to be respectful of a persons comfort level before making any one do anything they are not 100% comfortable with. giving a client a shower a ride or just helping them with anything that may require more then what a person may be up for in a day.
