I was in Business Management for 25 yrs and wanted a job that made me feel like I was giving back. I always had a nurturing personality and decided to get into Home Health Care. So I started Pursuing this field in 2002 and been loving it every since. I guess what I really love about it is seeing the smiles on their faces. I've worked with clients with dementia, internal illness, paraplegic clients etc. I'm very detailed oriented and take the care of my clients very seriously. Hi , My Name Is Andrea Stewart and i been a caregiver for 31/2 years and transferred to a CNA so my total years of experience is 5 years . what made me interested on being a caregiver was when i was 16 years old i used to help my grandmother around she was real sick i used to transfer her feed her meal preps , bath groom and ect ! from that moment i knew that i made to become a caregiver i love helping elderly people and giving them spirit and light to there lives . being there for them mentally physically and emotionally.

I enjoy everything about being a care giver because it says a lot about my character I love making sure people are happy well took care of an just in great spirits. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is when I started caring for my grandmother she was in a nursing home where she suffered from neglect that I personal witnessed and from that point on I decided to become one so that I know she would receive the best of the best care. I'm very open to learning & meeting new people I love having open & honest conversations .

I'm a patient and caring person. I'm Easy going and very observant. Growing up in a family full of caregivers I watched my elders take care of each other. So it's a natural instant to me to want to help others. I like to see people happy clean and comfortable. I'm proud of the women that I was raised to be.

What makes me a great caregiver is I actually care for my patients. I don't look at it as a job. Caring for people is just something that's naturally installed in me. With me always working in a hospital setting but not being hands on with the patients is one of the reasons I chose to take the classes to become a CNA. I found something I love to do.

Just helping someone who can't do anything for themselves like they use to makes me feel good to help them. 3. What makes me a great caregiver is the facts that iam compassionate about what i do, and love what i do. I became attracted to being a caregiver from having to take care of my grandmother. What i enjoy most about be a caregiver is being able to give someone the help and strength to get throught their day. Being able to help others who cant help themselves. I am a very responsible and respectful person and I love to help others reach their goals. I respect Communication between my clients and myself. I had 6 children and I was a single mom and the world was against me but I've raised 6 beautiful children whom have all graduated with honors and 3 of My girls are also cna's. The world was wrong because I made something good out of my life when everyone said I would fail and I'm still standing strong with God on my side. One of my greatest achievements in the world was giving back by raising 6 of the best children you could ask for.
