Hello my name is anatasha but I go by Tasha. I just want to let you know a little bit about me. I am very loving, caring, compassionate, hard working, and reasonable. Ever since I can remember I have always loved helping other people out. I have always made sure that everyone else is taken care of before I take care of myself. Growing up my brother had autism along with a couple of my cousins. I loved helping them and saw no difference between them and myself. Once I got to high-school I knew I wanted to help with the program we had that was for students that had a disability or had trouble learning the material being taught. I always wanted to make sure life was easier for them and help them accomplish the thing that they wanted to. It is just the best feeling and such a reward being able to help someone who needs it. Being a caregiver isn't just about working and getting paid, it is about building a relationship with a client and making them feel good about themselves and letting them accomplish what they need to or what they have always wanted to. It's about making things easier for them and making sure they get everything out of life that they wanted.

I am a self motivated person that enjoys helping people. My personality is sure to make you feel comfortable in allowing me to help you with daily tasks, both personal and professional. I can assist you by: caring for loved ones, handling phone calls and scheduling, guiding & caring for children, helping seniors stay mentally and physically active, managing a household, running errands of all sorts, cleaning up and organizing clutter, accompanying to appointments, caring for pets. Hello, my name is Katie! Here is a little about myself; I'm from Pittsburgh and received my bachelor's in music there however I am currently going to UTEP for my masters in Occupational Therapy. I am a person who tends to be full of energy and I really enjoy caring for others. I worked at a facility called The Woodlands Foundation for 3 years, in which I lived at the facility for 10 weeks and performed personal care/companion care for children and adults with many different diagnosis'. The diagnosis' included autism, cerebral palsy, spinabifida, down syndrome, seizure disorder, and many more. I also have worked in a home care facility for about 6 months during college where I did night care for an adult. I am very experienced in performing personal care as well as implementing behavioral interventions. I encourage independence as much as possible! I was on management for one year planning all activities for the children's program there and supervising the larger summer camps. Recently I have just finished caring for my grandfather who has Guillian Barre Syndrome and I have been doing all personal care needs and running errands for him and my grandmother who is also in need of care. I also nannied for some families for a few years. The first family I took care of their 3-year-old boy and 1. 5 yr old girl. I traveled with them to Russia for 2 months and gave the children English lessons every day and planned many activities to fill the days (educational and musical). The second family that I was employed with in Miami had 3 children (2 boys, 7 & 9. 1 girl 5). The final family I worked with is a family from Pakistan and cared for their 3 yr old boy and 7 yr old girl in Pittsburgh.
