Hi there, I'm Monica. I have been in the healthcare field since 2005. I started as a CNA at St. John's Home where I worked on the night shift for 4 years. Since 2009, I have been doing Private Home Care as an Aide. My CNA certification has lapsed as of 2011. I have cared for people with all different disabilities and ailments, such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Cancer, MS, etc. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making residents laugh and enjoy their lives, while assuring they get the best care.

What I enjoy most about being a care giver is helping those who can't help themselves. I'm very patient and understanding. My years of working with the geriatric population has given me the experience I need to provide adequate care. One of my achievements I'm proud of is recently being accepted into Penn State Hazleton's practical nursing program, upon completing my CNA course this upcoming April.

My passion for the helping others has led me to this field and has kept me here for over 10 years now. I've been fortunate enough to work with diverse individuals and in a multitude of environments, and this has allowed me to strengthen my skills such as communication, patience, loyalty and reliability. There's nothing I find more rewarding than knowing I am making a difference in the world by helping those in need. I truly enjoy working with people and having that one-on-one interaction with others, and this job allows me do that just that!

Hi! I have been taking care of living beings and organics my entire life. I get true joy in helping others. I am that person that would give you the t-shirt off my back or my last dollar to help. I recently moved my grandfather from New Castle, PA down here to Corning, OH after my grandmother had passed away. He was not being taken care of properly in Pa. He had several major medical issues going on. When I got him in my care he was 86 lbs. Within 6 months I had him up to 125. His highest weight was 154 before the last month or 2 of his life and he started to go downhill. He struggled with emphysema, COPD, CLL, prostate and urinary problems, a slew of heart problems, dementia, hearing loss and he was very combative when trying to get him to eat or bath. But he lived the best life he had left in my care until he passed this past October. I had him for 2 years. I am a very intelligent individual whom loves to garden, homestead, live off the land, read a ton, craft, cook and bake. I am a sewing enthusiast and make my own jewelry. I was told about this job option by a friend of mine who works for the company and she thought I would make a perfect fit for it since I am moving back home. I want to be able to care for more individuals as I did my grandfather. I am experienced in nursing home/assisted living care. In specific dementia and Alzheimer's. I was certified in med pass. My children are growing like weeds and they won't be home forever. I have several personal achievements. My most important one is that I am appointed by the State Supreme Court of Ohio to serve abused and neglected children and be their voice in court. I own a small business owner and opened up my own bakery. I did that and am closing/selling my business to move back home to be closer to family. I have lived all around the world and served proudly for our country. I am very knowledgeable about different cultures. I do have Ohio State & Federal clearances and background checks available.

I enjoy assisting people in increasing their quality of life. I have patience, compassion, a sense of humor, and the ability to really listen to and empathize with clients. I also enjoy being around and communicating with people in general. My biggest sense of accomplishment is seeing a client's joy in his/ her accomplishments of goals.

I've been caring for the elderly all of my adult life. Through HHA, CNA, and RN, my focus of care has not wavered. I am easy to get along with and happy to provide whatever is needed. I have experience with caregiving for those who require all levels of skilled and non-skilled care: para/quadriplegic, post-op, colostomy, G-tube, diabetic, Alzheimer's, stroke, CHF, Parkinson's, MS, ALS, and much more. As an RN, I am well trained to closely monitor and provide knowledgeable assessments and skilled medical interventions to patients needing a higher degree of care. I am happy to do anything that is asked of me. I provide all personal care, range-of-motion exercises, medication administration, dressings/wound healing, cleaning, cooking, maintaining ongoing communication with doctors and other healthcare professionals, provide transportation, accompany on travels, and anything else that is needed.

I have been helping my Grandmother for years. Taking her to doctor appointments, making sure she eats and takes her medication. Ensuring that she is taking care of herself. I enjoy helping people and making their days better.

I qm currently an LPN. Before that I was a private caregiver. The reason I became a caregiver was growing up I was also raised with the help of my grandparents. Both of them had health issues and I always helped take care of them. It made me realize that helping people was something I wanted to do. My personal achievement was working as a caregiver is what put me through LPN school.

I am a certified occupational therapy assistant looking to assist families looking for a reliable dependable person. I am a mother of 2 sons who are raised and are working and college aged. I am a sympathetic, empathetic, nurturing and caring person who genuinely cares for people and improve their quality of life. I am a licensed physical therapist assistant of over 13 years with experience in adult and senior populations. I am compassionate about helping others maintain their independence within the home as well as maintaining strength mobility endurance and balance. I have a great personality for companionship as well!

I am 29 years old and I have always been a caregiver. Every job I have ever held required caring for individuals who needed extra support. I am a caregiver because I developed a love for the field at a very young age. I come from a long line of caregivers, the most influential being my grandmother. As a nurse she cared for strangers all day and then she would come home and care for her ailing mother, one son who had special needs and intellectual disabilities and another who had a terminal illness. Everyday that I advocate for the people I support, I think of that strength. I also carry with me the empathy of being the family member of someone who requires such care; I care for my clients that compassion. I genuinely love my career, nothing makes my day greater than finding new ways to care, support, and advocate for my clients. I am proud that I chose a field that I love, other than one based on monetary gain.

I have a master's degree in exercise physiology which allowed me to run a hospital based cardiac rehabilitation program for 14 years. Since moving to Florida I have taken private caregiving jobs and work as a health coach part time. Caregiving has always been first and foremost in my approach to my clients. You have to have caregiving in your soul to receive the gifts caring for someone can bring. I am most proud of my approach to always put the client first even when it meant challenging the medical profession. Also getting to know my clients needs and abilities so that "we" can reach their goals in living a wellness lifestyle. I am 57 years old, living a good life here in Florida. I believe everyone can benefits from low level activities and I can help them accomplish living a life to their fullest enjoyment.

I love helping people. I have experience mostly taking care of multiple children and disabled children. I do have experience in the clinical setting taking care of adults and elderly. I am a very compassionate person and have experience providing medical care along with assistive care. I just graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Biobehavioral Health, which I am very proud of. The information learned in the major is a combination of biology, psychology and statistics. This degree has educated and prepared me for a range of jobs in the healthcare field.
