I became a caregiver 5 years ago fresh out high school after helping my grandma through her breast cancer process. I believe my patients, care, and communication skills make me one out of many great caregivers. I enjoy assisting residents with there every day needs and knowing I'm helping someone accomplish something. I'm proud to say I've helped many residents become independent again with the help of them as well and look forward to working with you.

I am a loving caring compassionate person. I've been in this field for nine years, I worked 9 yrs with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients as well as Parkinson's disease. I have worked with in home clients, assistant living, independent living and hospice.

Caring, straight-forward, determined, and qualified. Being a caregiver is a task, but a wholesome one that has led me down a path I never believed I would go down. It has opened my eyes. Given me reason. Taking care of others is rewarding in so many ways, even when it comes to the hustle and knowledge that was once so foreign to me. In the past year and a half I have learned that giving my all into those who need my help is tremendously worthwhile. I have grown to enjoy my time spent with my clients/residents. Have learned many things along the way, and found my place. I'm CPR certified, Med-Tech Certified, and open-minded to learning with new experiences along the way.

I love working with people. Im kind, caring and easy going My moms been a nurse for 20+ years and I've always wanted to be like her, just watching her inspired me so much. A personal achievement I'm proud of is I love taking care of others before I take care of myself.

I have always wanted to take after my mother being in the nursing career. After my grandmother got sick and after her surgery, I took her into my care and took care of her for a year and a half until she passed away. After doing that I realized that I would love taking care of others. I knew that if I could do it with my grandmother I could do it with anyone. During the time I was taking care of my grandmother I learned how to gain patience, being compassionate with her and others, keeping up with house work, meal preparation, showering, transferring, medication reminders, and toileting. After she passed away I started at Quality Life Services in Apollo PA, doing the same thing. And I couldn't be happier with the career choice I have chosen. I love the work I do and I love the residents that I take care of, I look at them like they are my own family.

I've worked with people with special needs (ranging from 18-85) most of my adult career and enjoy making the most out of my client's days however I can. I moved to Chambersburg PA the end of June and am looking to get started with someone who's in need of a caregiver. I am someone who enjoys working with people, and am always looking to make the most out of my client's day. I enjoy seeing goals being met and providing independence however I can.
