I am currently attending Abilene Christian University online in pursuit of my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree, with a child and adolescent therapy concentration. Through local shelters and organizations, I have dedicated my time to working with at-risk children and families within the community to help people overcome adversity. I am interested in working with individuals and families where I can utilize my knowledge and experience in human services to promote the overall well-being of others.

Growing up, my godmother owned WEE Welcome You Daycare. From 2011 to 2016, I spent summers volunteering there as an English and Math teacher. Since then, I have steadily been babysitting for families in my local community. For the year of 2016, I cared for a pre-mature infant from Friday afternoon through Sunday night as her mother worked. For the past year, I have watched a family of 5 children. I am enrolled in Abilene Christian University in Texas, though I will spend my breaks in the St. Louis, Missouri area. I am an education major pursuing a career in teaching theater in middle/high school. I have a Honda Accord. I am active and can help with any physical needs. When my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, I began to help care for her. Whether it be reading books, cooking, going on short walks, or providing for key safety attributes, I am more than willing to help care for others who are in need. I am a certified Best Buddies Ambassador, and served as a tutor to students in my high school's Special School District during the school year. I'm a loving father to two beautiful kids that I adore and a Christian fellow man and I was born in Africa,Kenya Nairobi I was born in a big family of 18 children and I'm somewhat in the middle and I have been in the United States for about 6 yr now and I went to Abilene high school and I graduated and went on to Abilene Christian university and I attended for two year till my mother fell ill so I had to get two full time jobs and assist her in paying her bills and taking my two little brother and sister to school ,that's when my passion begun for caregiving it's the kind thing that you do to people you love and you want them to be taken care of . One of the many reasons why I enjoy caregiving is because of the happy feeling knowing they are well being taken good care for and my personal trait is that I'm a friendly person and I love to make people smile and laugh even when times are hard I try to get the joyful side of them and my greatest achievement as a caregiver is their well being and happiness in the family knowing that they can be sure that their mother or father is being taken care of .

I am 61 years old and was in the mortgage business for 40 years I changed to a caregiver three years ago as I can get the daily rewards every day of doing something special for someone. I have lived for the past three years my mom has Alzheimer's and my dad is her caregiver and takes care of her I'm looking for full-time work with a family that I could stay with and help in someway. I'm looking for full-time work to live with a family I could help. My sister lives close by and she is my Dads back up and my moms favorite daughter. I grew up in a very normal family my dad worked my mother never did work I never brought the bus to school she took us all to school in the car and cook dinner every night so when I was young I thought everybody live like that but that's not the case from what I found out so I was very lucky
