I've taken care of people my entire life and I would enjoy doing just that for the rest of my life. I was interested along time ago to be a caregiver when I realized that not alot of family's can take care of their loved ones. I get the most joy when I go see a client and they are happy to see me. My greatest achievement that was recent, was moving down here from fort worth to help take care of my grandmother who's turning 87 soon

I am currently living with my grandparents and help with their care and medications when needed, as well as our neighbor who lost her husband and needs assistance every so often. Everyone needs a little help and most just want someone to visit with.

I want to be a caregiver because I love working with people, learning, and helping them in anyway possible. What attracted me to being a caregiver is the fact that I get to help people. I have worked for a family taking care of a young disabled man, as well as assisting as a caregiver for a older gentleman that is paralyze. My experience includes bathing, toileting, medication reminder and transportation. I know how to use a hoyer Lift and can lift up to 80 pounds on my own
