At the age of 14 I became a caregiver to my grandfather a POW of WW2. He had PTSD and incurable frostbite damage to his legs. The fondness and love I had from working with my grandfather led me to working for assistant living companies and in-home care for a lovely lady who passed of cancer. I absolutely love working with and assisting the elderly it's like being with my own grandparents. I'm 30 years old and from a small town outside of Tyler Tx.. Athens Tx. I have Southern Hospitality and a Compassionate Caring Nature. I'm very Patient and Reliable and would Love to assist your Loved one and make life more comfortable for them.

I started caregiving at the age of 25 and I am now 35 and still in the home health industry. I love taking care of the elderly. I have almost 11 years experience with the elderly. I have worked with many different kinds of patients. I love that I can do the things for them that they can no longer do anymore, and just to see their smiling faces everyday when I show up to work. Knowing that I can make a change in their day to day lifes makes my heart rejoice.

Hello, my name is Shakyra Lavonne Sanders Butler. I am a 20-year-old black woman with a drive to interact one-on-one with others. I have many years of caregiving experience outside of a work facility. I find joy in the potential happiness that makes a difference in someone's life. I believe that home health care awards workers with meaningful jobs and the opportunity to manage a client's comfort level. I am extremely proud of myself for staying focused on finishing tasks that have been started, such as attending college.

I am a cheerful individual. I enjoy helping others. I've always been very nurturing and accommodating by nature. I'm a fast learner and have a great sense of humor. I've wanted to help others my entire life. It just brings me joy. In my years of being a caregiver I've enjoyed watching people rehabilitate do things they never thought they could and even just being a part of someone's life in a positive way. I am proud of my life long career in taking care of others

The thing that makes me a great caregiver, I treat every patient as if they're my own family. After seeing what my father and his sister went through in the nursing home made me decide to make a change in how patients are treated and cared for. What I enjoy most about care giving, is the fact that I have one on one with the patients. My personal achievement is the thanks and appreciation I receive from families of the patients that I've cared for.

I to was once in a position where I had to rely on someone to take care of me, I understand when you get in a position where you can't do what you need to do, rather by a unfortunate circumstance or the way of life cycle. I enjoy being a part of helping someone and letting them know that things will be okay...
