I have been licensed as a vocational Nurse in the past but no longer keep a license due to medical reasons being unable to respond quickly enough in emergencies. However, I love to help people and make life more enjoyable especially for the forgotten elderly. I am most proud of giving my all to Jesus Christ so He can show His love through me to others.

I am a National Certified Patient Care Technician.I have experience with people diagnosed with dementia, strokes, cancer, C. O. P. D, total care, quadriplegic, diabetes, high blood pressure, neuropathy, CHF, and other heart conditions, Multiple sclerosis. I'm sure I missed a few, will update later. I am a great caregiver because I care fully for the client. I follow all instructions to the letter and ask when unsure. I am attracted to caregiving because I am a caring person. My great grand parents were old and unwell; if only they had better care they would have lived just a little bit longer. I am attracted to caregiving because I think to hat I can make a difference. I enjoy being a companion to the elderly as well as fetching and bringing whatever it is they desire.

My personality traits, being attracted to being a caregiver, and why I enjoy being a cargiverfor are that I truely enjoy caring for clients in their own homes. I am a very fast learner, very organized, reliable, hard-working, have good transportation, and always strive to perform my very best at any job I do. I am also very excellent at completing my paperwork on time. My most most personal achievement as being a caregiver/RN in the home health care environment is the one time I felt I really helped a client out with her disability. I had a client a few years ago that had been unable to leave her home due to the fact that she didn't have a wheelchair ramp attached to her home. She was unable to go down her front steps for about 3 years due to her arthritis in her legs. Thru lots of research, I was finally able to find a traveling church group that would donate their time helping clients in need by building them home improvements to help them. I was able to get up with them to have them come to her home and build her a wheelchair ramp. I was so happy for her, that we both cried. That was one of my best days on the job!

I am 19 years old. I have being a caregiver since I was 17. I love helping others. I enjoy assisting residents with their daily activities. It make me happy knowing they are happy and enjoying their day. I try and help out as much as I can because I know once upon a time they were my age.

my name is Jadayshia Mclemore, and i've always wanted to take care of people i decided that my freshman year of high school. this type of job is something that your heart has to be set on and you be willing to do it. i enjoy being around the elderly and getting to hear there stories about your younger life and a lot more. i'm most proud of myself that i made a full year of doing a caregivers job, and i'm so proud of myself.

I am a very cheerful and outgoing person. I've been a caregiver for seven years. Because I love to assist those who are in need. Also being able to building a companionship with clients is a plus. From my experience not every client needs are the same. Some just need a friend to be saved from their own loneliness. So I'm not only your caregiver but a friend indeed.

Hello! My name is Karine Courtney and I am a 42 y/o married mother of 3 beautiful children. I have been a stay-at-home parent for the last 10 years. Before I made the decision to stay home, I worked as a Phlebotomist in the hospital. This was such a profound time for me. I loved my job. Their are so many patients whom were sick that didn't have any family members to look over them while their or to even visit. I was their only source of companionship. I had taken care of both of my Grandparents whom had cancer. They were able to be at home and live out their life because our family took care of them. We took turns doing what was needed. From baths, meds given correctly, peg tubes cleaned... You name it and I did it!! I also cleaned and cooked. From this I learned what was most important. I am a very high energy, patient, observant and fun loving person. I also have a 3 year old daughter whom has Down Syndrome. I know what it is like first hand to deal with special needs care and gentle redirecting. I love Jesus and my family and friends.

Caregiving is something i love doing. Helping our seniors is so dear to me...i see them as my parents and i give my all to make sure they are comfortable and well taken care of and their needs met. What motivates me is the fact that aging is a process we all will go through and when its my time, i expect love and good care, so i am giving it now with kove and care because it's what i will expect for me. Lastly i grew up knowing that i am supppsed to respect, protect and care for my elders and that is my mission.

I have experience with knee replacements, dementia, hospice patients ect, I've always had a thing for working in the nursing field But, what got me started with working in the nursing field was my mother she has worked in the nursing field for quite some time now, And my experience started with the elderly. I love helping the older community because, you never know what could happen that can be one of your loved once and you would always want them to have the best care. I am proud of myself because as a high school student I worked a full time job at the nursing home, took college classes and still made it to school even though it was very challenging.
