I m a compassionate person, grew up in Africa where I took care of my grandmother and Aunties. I m a single mother of 3 girls, I m naturaly a nurturing person and caregiving I got to do that and also gives me flexibility with the kids schedule. I took care of 98yr old for 3yrs. She became like family and even after she passed I still have a good relationship with her family. Best achievement is gaining a family away from home through caregiving

I'm a very caring helpful person

I am very easy going, type person, very much a people person, very much an extrovert. I enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories. Part of why I became I caregiver is because I grew up with having both sets of grandparents close by. I always enjoyed hanging out with them, learning from them, being with them and hearing their stories from days gone by. As for what I enjoy most about being a caregiver, I enjoy getting to know my clients/residents on a personal level. A personal achievement that I am proud of is I have written a woman's devotional, but has yet to be published. Also, I am a very crafty person and have several crafts that I enjoy doing: crochet, paper crafts, some painting, some drawing.

My name is Cindy Rivera, I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a BA, I am working on my CNA and Medical Assistant certification. I enjoy caring for all age groups because I love sharing my joy and passion with others. My personal achievement that I am proud of, is that I was the first to graduate from my family.

I have been working in healthcare for about thirty year .I am a certified nurse aid. I have worked in the hospital, Nursing Homes, and private homes. I enjoy helpings and being there for the families. I like to give my full support in anyway I can. My patient is the most important person to me . I feel giving 100 percent to them as well as for emotional, spiritual , moral support. I always want the patient to feel ccomfortable as well as the family. I can do just about anything that is asked of me.I just retired from Nursing a year ago. I am a hard worker I like helping Poeple. I also moved out of state to care for a elderly aunt until her death.

I have been a nurse for 7 years and have worked with the senior community for 6 of these years. I enjoy working with the elderly because I was very close to my grandmother. I understand the ups and downs of aging.

Having been a Certified Nurse Aide for over twenty-seven years some of my greatest attributes in this particular career of choice have always been my ability to connect with my patients in reasoning, listening and having a mutual love and respect towards them. I have hands on experience in Long Term Care, Assisted Living, Hospital and I am currently employed within Palliative Care. My life Creed is God First, Family and Life while giving to others. I have found that as I give to others, God will inevitably give back to me. I am most proud of my soon to be Bachelors Degree in Arts and Science from Dallas Baptist University within the field of Psychology. I am a good caregiver as there is a need to keep the client out of hospital. I have worked in facilities to read, talk or just watch TV to increase quality of living. I bring and give higher level of attention. i have a helpful personality and I am timely. I enjoy honoring clients to the best of my ability. I am highly motivate to follow the rules.

Being a caregiver is considered ministry first and foremost for me because this is the gift and passion that God has placed in me. I have a special purpose here on earth, and that is to inspire, uplift, and give unconditional love to others who may need guidance, and assistance with activities of daily living. There are others who just may need a companion to lift their spirits, it doesn't matter where an individual may find themselves on the scale of life, God has purposed me to be that advocate for someone to help them smile again.

I am sincere,caring,dependable,trustworthy, and take great pride in doing my best for my client. I took care of my aging parents until their demise and it made me very considerate of the elderly and their needs. If my client becomes ill or goes into the hospital I check on them to see how they are and to let them know I care. Im a retired teacher and mother of three and grandmother of 15. I have cared for seniors for over ten years.

I am a compassionate and patient servant !! I consider serving individuals who have autism, IDD and developmental disabilities a ministry. I love watching the clients that I work with achieve and master their goals. In addition, I love seeing a decrease in targeted (negative) behaviors. I have recently obtained my RBT Certification and I am excited about working on my BCBA credential!!
