I enjoy the opportunity to impact people's lives and makes a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know them and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I have empathy and compassion for elderly people. I always let them know how much I care about them and want to do what I can to help them. I am also reliable, trustworthy and patient with them. I love providing for those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and when they feel honored to work with me , it makes me feel I have done my job.

I became a caregiver as a way to begin my education into the nursing field but I've come to find a passion in what I do. As a kid, I've always loved to help people especially my grandparents. At age 7, I used to watch my siblings and babysit until now and it has become a natural thing for me, taking care of others. I enjoy what I do. I've been an experienced caregiver for 4 years now and have been certified for two years. I love being of assistance to people in need and I love making people happy.

I am a great caregiver because I love helping seniors. I see myself growing old and I realized I might need help too. I also know that no one wants to be dependent on anyone, so I try to understand my client's need and help them to be as independent as they can. The relationship I build with my client is best part about being a caregiver. A personal achievement is growing to understand and love clients. I never had this opportunity to make an impact in people's lives till I became a caregiver.

I am a very compassionate and caring person. I am a people's person with a lot of patient and understanding. My grandmother was a bedridden patient for many years, and at the age of 12years I was the caregiver assisting her with he ADLS. The love of giving back; the assurance, and encouragement to my patient to continue to live life the fullest. When I see the smiles and hopes on their faces giving them the urge and push to continue to live life again.

What makes me a great care giver. From a young age, I have always loved looking after people and helping in any way I can. My younger sister was born when I was 10 years old. I really enjoyed looking after her and watching her grow that I decided I would also enjoy looking after children when I was older. As I gt older I started looking after my grandparents and it made me realise that patience and understanding go a long way. it takes a lot for an individual to give up control and trust someone to look after them. Being a care giver not only means looking after a vulnerable individual because they are unable to look after themselves. it means caring about their welfare and treating them with dignity and respect the same way you would want to be treated. Understanding this is what makes me good at what I do I became a caregiver because I simply enjoy being there for people when they are no longer able to care for themselves Personal achievement Having had to stop my studies several times due to unforeseen circumstances I could have easily given up. But Wat kept me going was knowing that it may not look possible now but 1 day wen things settled down I would continue to achieve Wat I am passionate about. The fact that I am already so close to finishing what I only dreamt of years ago reason to keep going but a drive to push myself and achieve more.
