I am compassionate, dependable, and love being a CNA. I became a CNA when my father got Ill, so I am very passionate. I want every patient/client I come into contact with to know someone cares and dedicated to providing exceptional service.

I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people and making a difference in someone's life. What I like most about being a caregiver is that I get to do what I love doing most and it's a very rewarding career. A personal achievement I am proud of is being "Employee of the Month" at my last job at Senior Care @LakePoint it showed that my hard work and being a great caregiver wasn't in vain and that I was appreciated by the difference I made in the facility I was working at the time. I have been a registered C.N.A. for 5yrs, being a caegiver is my calling because of the jobs that I have had in my life this has been the one that I TRULY love doing. I love making a difference in someone's life it's a feeling I can't explain,but the one thing that I know is that this is the field that I am supposed to be working in.

I consider myself a positive, attentive and very nurturing person. I love helping people. I have a weakness when it comes to caring for others. What has mainly attracted me to caregiving was taking care of my grandmother until my grandfather was able to retire. I would love to potentially get my CNA license in the near future. I adore interacting with people in general and would love to meet you!

I am a very outgoing, empathetic, and just genuinely happy person. The senior care pathway is my choice of lifelong career, due to the fact that I've cared for the elderly ever since I was young. I enjoy every second of being a part of senior care! I enjoy how fulfilling the job is the most. My greatest personal achievement has been the friends I've made throughout caregiving and the accomplishments met through it.

I decided to become a caregiver whenever I started to care for my grandmother, she has dementia and suffered from a stroke. After taking care of her and a couple of other people in my family I was told by other people in the field that I was a natural at this, and that I should try to do it as a job, so I did and it turns out that I love it! I think that my love for the job, and treating people the way I would like to be treated makes me great caregiver.

My name is Cortney. I recently graduated high school in 2015. I am currently going to college in hopes to become an RN. I have always had a passion for working with the elderly. I have experience in home health care and dementia care. I've taken care of both of my grandparents. One of which has dementia. I currently work at Three Forks Senior Living where I am a Resident Assistant. I have experience with administering medications, bathing, grooming, feeding, etc.
