I enjoy being a caregiver because it is what I am best at. I enjoy taking care of elderly patients that can and cannot take care of themselves. It's a wonderful experience, and I enjoy communicating. What makes my patients feel comfortable I'm here for it.

I had the opportunity to care for my mother in her final years. I have also worked in home health care and group homes for 10+ years. I currently work with young adults 5 days a week. I really enjoy helping others and being a listening ear. I enjoy caring for the elderly as well as children in various capacities.

Hello , I'm Antoinette Brown an middle age woman from Texas . Some family and friends call me Nette for short. A mother of five children 4 boys and 1 girl ,im a CNA/ Healthcare worker . I have done both facilities and home health since or around 2008 . I really enjoy both. Im a very caring and helpful person. I like to make sure others are ok. Im a good listener and very considerate of other. Im a friendly calm, talkative, smiley face . I rarely meet any strangers and I treat everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve . The things I enjoy most about working with the elderly is being the one they can count on, the aide they love to see coming into work because they know im going to take good care of them during my shift . I enjoy making a difference in their day. Being able to help them do things they no longer are capable of doing themselves or cant do to the best of their own abilty anymore. I do it all. I cook, clean, run errands, dress, groom, shower, assist with toileting, laundry, comfort the best I can, med reminder ect.

Hello my name is Misty. I am a very kind and compassionate and most always positive 44 year old private caregiver with 24 years experience.It all started when I went to work at a nursing homeand I didn't make it a whole week because I seen how they were treating the residents and that right there told me I wanted to do private duty one-on-one. So at that point i became my grandmas caretaker untill she passed away. I love being a caregiver because I can give them my one-on-one full attention. Also it's so rewarding,like you know it makes me feel good and smile to know that I'm helping them like they helped us back then. They took care of us, it's our turn now to take care of them. My name is Lakendra Jackson. I go by Kendra. I am 32 years of age and have 3 children, ages 13,8, and 3. I currently attend an online program with The College of Healthcare Profession(CHCP) to receive my associate's degree in Medical Business and Administrations. I plan to further my career and with great hopes, be my own boss one day. I am due to graduate in December of 2018. The medical field is where my heart belongs. I have a genuine love for helping others live a healthy life. My heart beats stronger for the elderly. My passion is to make living in the "old days" as comfortable as possible. I love conversations with people of age, for they have they best stories to tell! My favorite part of being a caregiver is GIVING BACK! And assuring them that it is now time to still be independent in all ways possible, but also knowing that when they can't do for themselves, I CAN!!!!

What i enjoys me to being a caregiver is that I get to learn each and everyday on making sure a patient is doing fine and just getting to know their personalities,a personal achievement i am proud of is being able to graduate high school and go straight to college working hard to getting my first own apartment

I made the decision to become a caregiver after my grandmother passed from Alzheimer's. I know firsthand what a family expects from a caregiver. I'm extremely patient, compassionate, empathetic, honest and a caring person. My organizational skills are excellent for medication or bill paying needs.

I am outgoing, trustworthy, patient, caring. I love being able to help people with any need that they may have regardless of what it is. I am reliable and I'm available anytime that I'm needed. Once I realized that I wanted to be able to assist with the elderly or anyone that I could help, I seeked out to get my CNA and CPR certification. I have worked in nursing homes, a hospital, and in-home caregiver. Being a caregiver/CNA has been my dream that I have been able to accomplish and I love every minute.

Being very out going is important.. you need to be able to communicate with your clients . Making sure they are taking medications correctly, bathing .. and making sure they eat., exercising staying active is very important. I lost my Grandma years ago.. I love taking care of the Elderly . Thing I enjoy most is companionship.

I love to help other and there family, I have always been like that, it's just a part of my life, it's a family past down to me from my grandma and mother. I just like to this and take time to listen to our talk about the life, and understand what the family is going through with there love one, and to give the family a break for all the work they have to put in to take care of there love one.
