My personality traits that I'm naturally a caring person and have compassion for others. I love to help others. I have the ability to bring my best qualities into my work environment and use them alongside the skills I have gained training in nurse assistant and medical assistant education. What attract me in been a caregiver is my mother who is a retired nurse for over 20 yrs and my grandmother who always helping people in need at her age of 91 she still does her part in the community. In 2010 my grandfather pass away of myeloma I was his caregiver. All this and more attracted me to become a caregiver. I enjoy most about been a caregiver is an opportunity to show love, respect, and dignity to those in need. It is a deeply fulfilling experience that allows me to learn more about myself and grow as an individual. Caring for someone is a powerful and intimate relationship that can bring about a strong connection and bond. When caring for someone, it is important to show love, trust, and understanding. One of my personal achievement that I proud of is becoming an advocate of others who is need.

1 What makes you a great caregiver? I'd leave it to others to rate me as a caregiver: my clients, former clients, client's family members. I'd only say that competence, personal integrity and humility (serving and putting others first) are core to the kind of person I endeavor to be in THIS LIFE. 2 Why did you become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because I love ALL peoples, and serving is the best way to demonstrate sincere love, love as defined by N.T. writers This Douglas Adams quote says it best: "To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity." 3. What do you like about being a Caregiver? I'm gratified when the care I provide exactly meets the client's needs and allows family members to confidently have a guilt-free break from the care of an aging, ill, or disabled family member. (There are two in my family) 4. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? -I was picked to be on a team assembled to care for a quadriplegic client. I had the privilege of providing her professional home healthcare: meal preps, tub baths, light housekeeping, from bed to chair transfers, (without HoyerLift) She also required a colostomy bag and urinary catheter care. -I'm also proud to have been selected, from a relatively large number of candidates, to assist a family dedicated to the care of a loved one severely disabled by Autism. -Most recently, I enjoyed the privilege of helping to provide 24-hour care for a SECOND quadriplegic client: a large male, requiring assistance with no HoyerLift transfers, tub baths, lots of passive ROM & OT prescribed exercises, scheduled repositioning while asleep, and more -I once successfully self-prepared at home for a proctored Microsoft exam. -Self-instructed, I can speak some Spanish and some Mandarin Chinese. 5. Tell us something about yourself. Grandfather of 4 -lifelong Bible student -love: Gospel hymns, animals, plants, walks, ping pong, audiobooks.

Hi Ive been in the medical field in various levels of patient care over 35 years. I have prenursing training and education , Im a registered Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, much more than a CNA. After caring for my 95 year old mom for 6 years; the realization needing an xtra hand, if nothing else to get a break , was challenging to locate a professional quality caregiver that actually knew what they were doing, and were reliable. It's important to have a good fit with your reliable caregiver. In order to achieve quality care, the well-being , help maintain as much independence as possible, and mentally stimulation; plus provide comfortably safe environment is crucial. I offer a variety of shifts, days, and nights, over-night and weekends /holidays stays, to assist, and provide that much needed break to the full time family caregivers. Especially if you are on your own and need a helping hand till you recover, I'm there for you. I enjoy making a difference helping those that really need it. If it will help you stay home versus a skilled facility I'll be there to assist where I can. I take pride in being punctual, accomplishing the tasks at hand, and providing you peace of mind you have someone you can rely upon. I am understanding and compassionate to each individual's care and needs. I treat my patients and their family with respect and dignity that all deserves. I have worked in various setting such as, Adult Trauma & Pediatric Unit in ER , Brain and Spinal Injury, Alzheimer/Dementia, MICU, SICU, PACU, Telemetry,Labor & Delivery, Ante and Post Partum, NICU, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, ICU, Nursing Homes and In Home Care. What I enjoy most is being able to fulfill a patients needs to the best of my ability. Most families I've cared for says I go beyond my duties. My biggest achievement is being able to still have the compassion and drive it takes to do this type of job.

As a Certified Nurse Aide of 30 plus years, I always give 101% of my service in caring for my clients. I am passionate of my work and love my job. As a young girl growing up I always felt strong about studying in the nursing field to advance in my career. I'm flexible, reliable, along with punctual. Nonetheless, I have capabilities to perform required duties such as walking, exercise, shopping, and transportation to health providers. Throughout my career choice as a caregiver, I have grown and become more compassionate and I love my profession.

As child, I grew up in a house hold with my elders. We took care of them and even though it was required of me, I always enjoyed it as my way of saying thank you. I make a great care giver because I understand what it is to need someone to be there for and sometimes just with you. In the days we live in, there is little to no love in the world for younger people, that leaves not such a great outlook for our elders so, as I am able and capable I love to put my hand to the ploy and help where there is a need. I enjoy being able to be there with my client to give them peace of mind, knowing they are in good hands.

I am a very compassionate individual. I'm very reliable. I find working with the elderly very rewarding plus I like to make a difference in their quality of life. I enjoy making them laugh, sharing stories just spending quality time with them.

I have always loved taking care of people since I was young, I took care of my elderly grand mom and then my mom when they were sick. That was one of the things that motivated me into nursing and have never looked back, that Taking care of people is what I love doing.

I treat all my patients with love and respect. I became a caregiver because i love to help people that can't do certain things on they're on.

I have bee a care giver for over 10 years, it's gives me joy to work work with the elderly, my grand mother was 99years old before she died and I took care of her her for 6 years.l gain a lot of experience from the elderly.i am always proud of any elderly I take care of and treat them like my gramma

I love caring for people. I have been a caregiver the majority of my life. Along with working as a caregiver currently, I was my maternal grandmothers caregiver while she had Alzheimer's until she passed in November 2015. I then became a caregiver to my paternal grandmother who had liver cancer for a few months until she passed in November of 2016. I have taken care of or been a companion of many others for over 20 years. I like giving back and helping those that are unable to help themselves. I treat my clients and take care of them like they are my family. I like to talk about just about anything and love to hear about their lives. I enjoy seeing a smile on their faces because they have someone to talk to and listen to them and help them.

Hello, First I'd like to share a few things about my experiences as a CNA/caregiver. I have always been a nurturing person first as a child and continuing through adulthood, It brings me great pleasure to help everyone I can. I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I have continued my education for 28 years now and I am told I bring great skill set to many homes and individuals. I have worked as a CNA in Hospitals, Home Health, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing Homes and Private Duty Requests. I enjoy them all. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.

I come from a family of caregivers. I have over 30 years of experience in dealing with the senior community. Caring for a loved one can be the most challenging experience. You have to be able to set boundaries and abide by those. Care giving gives growth to both the patient and the assistant. In home care allows an individual that safe haven; which at time is all they need. The ability to see, touch and experience their own way of living; with a little assistance.

Hello! I have 7 months experience working in the care industry and have developed a compassionate approach.
