I have five years experience in senior care professionally and over 10 years in taking care of families, friends, relatives who are wheel chair bound, stroke etc. I understand what it takes to make them a top priority by approaching them with the love and respect that they deserve. I create a special bond with every senior/client under my care and make every moment fun and memorable with their safety always coming first. I have a passion for what I do because I believe its my mission to care for others. I have been certified since 1990 and I still enjoy working with elderly clients. I watched my aunt care for my paralyzed uncle at home and I wanted to do the same for others one day. I have worked in skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, memory care as well as done home health. I enjoy being that hands on person who jump start the day for my clients. The person they look forward to caring for them and being a companion. I like being needed and depended on. I am proud that even though I am a caregiver I am also a Certified Activity Director, so I am able to do all of the daily ADL's as well as keep my clients active and engaged in various activities that are stimulating, reflects their interests and values but mostly improves quality living.

I have 9 plus years working in the healthcare industry. I have a passion for helping others and making sure the clients needs are met. I try my best in every way to make sure the client has everything that is needed for them to be happy. A personal achievement I am happy about is that I am in school pursuing my goal to become a nurse.

I am very passionate about care giving. I began taking care of my wheel chair bound grandfather when I was 12 until he passed away in 2015. I have been caring for the elderly ever since. I have over 20 years caregiving experience. 16 years of memory care experience and 14 years of home health experience. I am CNA as well as BLS certified.

What makes me a great caregiver is the passion i have to care for people especially the old, so that they won't feel neglected and abandoned. I became a caregiver because since my late grandmother was sick and was taken to the hospital, her needs were not met to accordingly and each time she needed a nurse attention, they will always take long to come attend to her, to the point where she needed oxygen I rushed to call for the nurse but she took all her time to come and i washed my grandmother gasp for air and finally died. Since that day i said to myself, I'm going to be a nurse in future so that I can come to those in need and save life. I am proud of myself because of how far i have gone to achieve my dreams as to become a nurse even though, I am still taking my prerequisites before getting into the main nursing program, God being my helper.

I raised a very large family my children are all adults and I am now a widow I have been active in my church charitable programs fund raisers and am a faith formation teacher for over 40 years my life has consisted of care giver, I experienced first my sisters n brother in law special needs and cared in a hospice like conditions then in 2006 my oldest son was a diabetic and went into a brain coma we were told he could not recover I nursed him at home for a good part of his condition before his death. Also I brought my 72 year old brother with Parkinson's and cared for him for 3 year till he moved to one of my other sisters,also had the privilege when I was a para profesional for our local high school special Ed for almost three years
