I think what makes me a great caregiver is being able to help in any way I can. And to also keep them company by conversating with them so they don't feel alone. I became a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of others. I like being able to help them do things they cant do for themselves. Something I'm proud of that I've achieved is being able to learn more about people and their situations that dont let them take care of themselves while in the process I learn new things daily about medical issues.

I have always worked in positions to make money for others. When I became a cna 15 yrs ago it was the best thing ever. I am a compassionate person an love helping others with things they are unable to do for themselves. Being a caregiver has been a rewarding change In my life.

hi I became a caregiver because I love people Im a very giving person and love when I can put a smile on someone's face and make their life a little easier in anyway I know how. my personal achievement is helping my mom taking care of my grandpa who is deceased and then taking care of her who is also deceased. taking of people and my family is what I love most its who I am. I have a natural giving heart and helpful personality. I grew up watching my mother work in all types of environments caring for the sick and disabled and that made my heart and mind grow fonder for this field. I approach each new client with professional care, compassion, patience, and kindness. I provide caregiving, companionship, errands, shopping, meal prep, transportation, pet care, light housekeeping, appointments, entertainment, exercise, activities and teaching basic computer/social media skills. I will take care of your family member as if they were my own. I enjoyed 2 years of taking care of my grandmother. Also worked at a senior living facility, helping 15+ residents with daily care including meals, bathing/hygiene and activities. Dementia, Alzheimer's, Blood pressure and glucose levels experience. I just recently made the choice to make caregiving a professional career. I have always loved caring for and serving others. As far as employment, for most of my life I have worked with children. My nephew was diagnosed with mediastinal germ cell cancer, and I helped care for him when he was put on hospice. I knew I wanted to change my path. When I can make someone have a better day, it's rewarding to me.
