I became a caregiver because I know I can make a positive impact and difference in peoples lives. I know in my heart that nursing/caregiving is my calling. I love everything about being a caregiver from helping rehabilitate someone to making my residents and their families feel comfortable in their last days. A personal achievement I am proud of would be dedicating back to school to further my education in nursing. when I am providing care, or just doing anything, it shows that I enjoy what I am doing. Being a caregiver is more than just about the money. This field can be very challenging at times and I can handle any situation while remaining professional, positive, compassionate, and I am very trustworthy and honest. For the most part, I live up to my name and always strive for excellence.

What makes me a great caregiver is i am very caring and loving and and i really love to take care of people. I really decided this is what i wanted to do when it came down to my grandmothers being sick and we had to take care of them, i think it just came natural and at that moment i knew this is what i want to do, it takes a very special person to do this kind of job and i feel i am that what i love most about being a caregiver is getting to the know the families i am taking care of,i love meeting new people and learning new things and this is the perfect opportunity to do so.a personal achievement i am proud of is getting my patients to trust me. Trust is a must when working with your patients it can take you a long way and i must say i am great at earning their trust.

I'm a very smart outgoing person. I love taking care of the elderly I really honestly feel like this was my calling. I enjoy getting to know my patients likes and dislikes and I love to make them happy and smile. I really love talking to my patients I love learning about new things and hearing about back in the day they can be so fun to be around. Making my patients happy it makes me happy at all times.

When it comes to caregiving, I enjoy most is learning about their life, understanding the difference from their time and current times now. It brings me a humbling experience to know that these days we often take life for granted.
