I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. One of the best qualities as a caregiver is my ability to be empathic. I understand that my client may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify and allay these fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those being cared for.

I would say great companionship makes me a great caregiver, I am a very caring and love to become part of a family to provide for family's In need. Family attracted me to be a caregiver since I was young I helped out family members and had a big heart as to being there for one another. I enjoy helping being that extra hand as a caregiver as I would want for myself or my loved ones. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being able to do anything I put my mind into. Finishing school working and being a mommy helped me to better myself as a person and a caregiver

I have been a caregiver for 12 years now. I started as a CNA and worked at a nursing home for 2 years. I currently work with special needs adults in group home setting. I love taking care of people and going above and beyond to ensure their needs are met.

I graduated college with an Associates degree in Applier Sciences then worked for as a medical assistant for 2 years for doctors who specialized in geriatrics, although I absolutely loved my patients I wanted to be with them longer than the usual doctor's visit. I got married in February and moved with my husband who is currently serving the military and I thought it would be a great opportunity to strive for something I have a passion for, helping others. I fell in love with the age group that has so many stories and advice to give from my very first day at the clinic. I am fluent in English and Spanish so communication is not an issue, I love being able to help others and am incredibly friendly. I get along with pretty much h everyone as soon as we get over the shy face of me which typically does not last long at all. I am extremely familiar with medications and common disorders, I am comfortable with all pets of that is ever a concern. My mother has worked as a caregiver for over 10 years and although I did go to school for something different I found that this is what I have a passion for.

I am attracted to being a caregiver because i love helping others and meeting new people. I am currently a nursing student and I look forward to spending time and enjoying the company of my future clients.
